@Godmother I used to do the same thing but I'd use post its and put them on the mirror while getting ready for school or work. Post its with affirmative messages on them. I also believe you're right about Donald Trump I think he views the presidency as a reality show and I also think by diminishing the importance of the job he puts us all at risk. When the president looks weak, the country looks weak.

Donald Trump annoys me. I feel like he isn't thinking like a president, he still thinks like a celebrity. What can I do to make headlines?

Chester dying shook me to my core. I was literally just going through a Linkin Park binge with my boyfriend. Every time we got in the car, we'd put Linkin Park on pandora and then the following week his name is everywhere.

What I do to stay positive is I repeat happy things to myself. Works for job interviews as well. I sit down and say things like, "you are a people person. You love customers. " or "you can do this. You're a pro. This is beginner's level. You are strong and confident!" etc. etc. I do this all the time everyday, it's the only way I stay sane lol
