If you specifically want to bold a link, make sure you format it like [b][url=http://www.characterlink.com]this[/url][/b] or else it gets very strange.

set up your code like this:
[ url = putimageurlhere ] type your character’s name, or whatever else you’d like!! [ / url ]

just when you do it, don’t leave spaces inside the brackets!! i only did that so my example didn’t turn into a link itself
