First of all, its not crazy that you're 21 and never had a boyfriend. I'm 22, a virgin, and never had a boyfriend either lol. I definitely know how you feel with your supervisor. I had the same situation with my boss. It's hard; you just feel like you're in the weird limbo of "I know I should move on but I don't wanna move on". Its like...you know theres no future there, and you know feeling this way about someone you can't have sucks...but for some odd fucking masochistic reason, you don't want the feelings to go away??? I feel you on that haha I hate it

There's nothing wrong with you. The right person will come along and will make you forget about LOML and make you forget about all the previous guys in your life who were dumb and annoyed you. when that person comes along, it won't feel messy and you won't have to worry about age or being a virgin or anything else. It'll all fall into place

Also, its ok not to know exactly what you want either. You're still so young and figuring things out. Your love life may seem like "a nonexistent mess" but its kinda bittersweet lmao

Girl no. I didn't have my first relationship until I was 21 and before that point, I always felt like something was wrong with me because everyone else I knew was dating in like the 6th grade while I wasn't. We just have hella standards and there's nothing wrong with us not wanting to settle *hair flip* Kidding, but don't feel like that's weird. It's really not. Or at least it shouldn't be.

Also, imo, I think you should just keep hanging out with the friend guy. LOML seems a bit unattainable (though I mean I'm all about work crushes, I have them every second ) but you never know about the friend. He could be something you're just not seeing, or he couldn't idk. But I'm all for putting yourself out there and seeing what you get with this guy.

Though I'd be weary of leading him on if anything does happen and you're still dreaming of LOML. This probably wasn't helpful but I hope things work out! I, myself, am navigating a weird mess of a love life lol so you're not alone sister
