Oh jeez well I'm pretty sure your GM would definitely side with you and ignore him. But the next time he does get in your personal space like that while you're helping a customer, definitely make a scene (pretend to freak out over him trying to touch you innappropriately--even if he isn't actually trying to do it), it'll spook him and make him move back.

People are absolutely ridiculous, and as you said, it's because he's a puppy more than anything to do with his breed. Working at a pet supply store, I see people coming in all the time with 8 week old puppies that they've had for two days or less and they're all on raving about how they're the "best behaved puppy ever". Yeah, he/she is tired, overwhelmed because they're out of their element, and still a little milk drunk, come find me in a week. Puppies cause trouble, it's the nature of the beast. Teddy has a fabulous mom named Effy though, who will teach him how to be amazing to his full potential.

Too many people are too quick to judge others on their decisions with their pets, especially in times of grief. We adopted Echo within 5 days of losing our first Greyhound without ever being able to bring her home (she passed from internal bleeding from her spay surgery). I'm sure plenty of people thought even that was wrong, but you are doing great and opening up your home so that someone else can have a chance at a great life, and I find that commendable.

He's a big nerd. But if he could read he would say HE LOVES YOU TOO. They completely are, I'll have to find their "rap album" picture and post it one of these days.

Pffft i would've done it anyways, just to make him back off or in the least embarrass him in front of the customers. I mean people like him need to learn about personal space. It's one thing to talk to a customer if he was just next to you cause that wouldn't nearly be as annoying. But it's another to go into someone else's personal bubble like he did, just to talk with the customer over something as trivial as shampoo, hair gel, mousse or whatever.

Honestly, some people have been real assholes about him and his breed. Yeah, he's hyper at the moment, but he's not even nine weeks yet, he's a regular puppy. I've really enjoyed having him home and I'm looking forward to having him by my side for the next 10-17 years. He's a clever little dude, but everyone calls him a "mongrel" or says it's too soon or whatever, I just wish people would leave me, my dogs, and my decisions the heck alone, you know?

GRADY IS PERFECT I LOVE HIM. I love all three of them! And I agree with you, they are totally really pretty Beautiful babies. That photo makes 'em look like they're gonna drop the best damn album of 2018! 5SOS, watch out

You're welcome! I had to laugh at the comments about him being a collie cross. Every breed has their own quirks, but I've known some of the best full and crossed Collies, far more good than bad in all of them.

Thank you! They are a really good group; I both got lucky and worked hard. Grady enjoys standing out in lots of ways, besides being the only boy. Eeeee thank you. I like to think they're really pretty, but I'm biased.
