I thought about it, but i'm not sure if I could be away constantly. If I didn't have a steady relationship then it wouldnt be a bad idea, but i don't want to leave him behind. I'm thinking of doing something with hospitality.

oh I know! I've handled all sorts of people, some of them are obnoxious. especially the rich snobby type who think they know it all. handled a few of those when I worked at a hotel.

and that's awesome. You go girl!!! and I missed you too! Arms

    Why not both?
Be a flight attendant for a little bit, if you don't like it then get out of it and get into another job/career.

I personally don't have a list of pros and cons for all.

But as a fellow retail employee, it's a very hard job. Customers are always going to be a number one stress source. Especially the crazy/unreasonable ones.
But if you are a people person, and have a good backbone, then it is definitely a good rewarding field. Especially when you climb up to management positions.

My long term goal is to be in Human Resources at my company. I love my company, and I love helping people. So I see it as a good fit.

BUT I MISSED SEEING YOU ON HERE BTW.

    @ in bloom.
I defiantly have been, thank you!! I think the flight attendant idea is off the tables for now . it sounds wonderful but the long hours sounds painful and i'm not sure if I could handle flying all the time! I'm thinking about getting my degree in hospitality and working in the hotel business.

Seriously! It's just so hard figuring out what I want to do. But I think i'm going to try and get my degree in Hospitality! I loved the idea of becoming a Flight Attendant but i'm not sure if I could handle the crazy hours and not being able to see my boyfriend.

    @ VixL

Honestly, I think if you ask for pros and cons, people are going to give you their own version of events, so it's better to do some research and think of your own reasons of what you want to go for! However, I can relate with being pressured to choose a career that would carry me through comfortably. People put such a huge amount of pressure on you to decide what you want to do until you retire, so my advise is think it through, do your research, and take your time deciding.

I had the same thoughts for the past three years. It took me a lot of trail and error trying to figure out what I wanted for my future. I think the Flight Attendant sounds like such an easy way to see the world! :)

I don’t have any advice, but I can relate to you. I don’t know what to do with my life, either. But that’s ok. I think the point is just to set goals and try to work towards them. Even if they seem unreachable. You have to set them, because it’ll give you direction. My twin brother wants to play for the NBA. He’s not THAT great of a basketball player, but he set the goal. He’s not in the NBA, but he’s played for two College basketball teams and even might have a chance to play overseas basketball. See? Even if you don’t hit directly on the bulls eye, at least you’ll hit somewhere on the board. Sorry if that sounds cheesy, but that’s what I got lol. I’ve always dreamed about being a published author. Now will I be a New York Time’s best selling author? Probably not. But if I don’t try then I’ll never know. I once wanted to be a Disney Princess (at the parks) and went and auditioned. I have bad social anxiety and never thought I would do it, but I did. I didn’t make it, but at least I’ll be able to say I once did it. And I now know what it’s like to audition. So, try. Whatever you want to do just try. It doesn’t hurt to have dreams for yourself.
