we used to do that when we’d go out of town (down to the TV and play time), but it’s almost $1500 for all of our kids. x___x my brother’s friend is paid to stay with them whenever we go out of town now.

he’ll have a good time, i’m sure, AND get taken care of! it’s less anxiety on you, i think. (:

oh man it was, I was sooooo sad okay but seriously though every little thing I worry so much about!!! I'm going out of town this weekend so Ramen is going to the pet hotel at Petsmart and I HAVE SO MUCH ANXIETY. I deadass also paid for the nice room with a TV and everything for him AND day camp so he can play. Like shortening my lifespan and my wallet

AWW! omg, that must've been terrifying! i remember that ned actually got a lil growth on his ear and i damn near died. it fell off a few months later, but holy shit, i legit thought my lil black bean had cancer. Dx these animals shorten MY lifespan, lmao!

LIL OLD MAN AWWW. Mochi actually got a bad bacterial infection a few months ago and I was real scared she was gonna die. Thankfully she's fine now but every day when I come home I shake her cage a little bit just to make sure she's still alive TEN YEARS jesus I had no clue guinea pigs lived that long!!!

Oh I can't even think about it, I tear up. We need science to let them live forever lol. Or at least until we die lol...

i think any pet is actually better than any male LOL. they don't mouth back, they just cuddle you.

thank you!! and i totally feel ya, i'm the same. it's funny that all of my animals are male, but they're so much better than actual, human males, lmao. :D

it’s so unfortunate that they live for so short a time. my first dwarf, jon, died at one and a half from diabetes and ned died bc he was a lil old man at two years old. you’d think the lil guys would live the longest! hamlet is supposed to be with me for ten years or hopefully longer. it depends on how well you care for them.

SAME. all of my dogs are under 4, thankfully, but it’s not gonna be pretty with me when they go. :/

LOL both my pets are named after food lol. Mochi is the dwarf hamster and Ramen is my dog (I swear I'm not a weeaboo ). But yeah I'm like scared because dwarves live only like 2-3 years and she's already technically an adult. I'll be so sad when she goes, she was my first pet

And I don't even wanna think about when Ramen gets old (he's 2, thankfully lol)

aw, i had dwarves, too! two of them and a syrian hamster; all were named after GoT characters, lmao. i was like that throughout their lives. i was pretty much crushed when they passed, but i feel like i gave them a better life than what they had at a pet shop and i hope to do the same with hamlet! he doubled in size since i got him. c:
