As I mentioned, I lived with him for two weeks and the night before we broke up, I made the decision to pack my stuff up and go back to my parents. He was so upset with the situation that his mom (who he lived with) had to serve as a mediator and I had told her that morning that I was leaving because he had hit me across the face the night before. I was sitting in the living room and he was in the bedroom and she watched him punch the floor so hard that he ended up spraining his wrist and breaking his pinky and ring finger, and fracturing his middle finger.
She knew that I was going to break up with him and to this day, from the lies that he told her after I left, doesn't believe that he could have done something like that. I know I broke his heart, and since I was his first girlfriend, I don't think in a sense that he realized that what he was doing was bad (or maybe that's just a lie my mind made up to protect myself) but I feel sorry for the next girl because I know he's more than likely going to do the same.
I dont know what your ex's problem was but you're absolutely gorgeous and it's his fault for not realizing it and he was an asshat. I'm sorry you went through all of that. No one deserves that but I'm glad to hear you're a lot happier now.
