I'm an atheist. I have been for a couple years. I've heard that ALOT.

According to some people, "we are ruining the protected religious world." and of course we all going to hell, blah blah blah....

I think it's freaking hilarious when they claim that we secretly worship Satan because technically, if we don't believe in god, than Satan doesn't exist to us either? Right?
I don't talk about religion with other people, they usually stop being my friend when they find out I dont believe in god.

Whatever...stupid people...

People like that are one of the soul reasons I dropped religion in the first place.

Atheists are usually good people, they are incredibly rational and correct and altogether smart.-.- Not that some religious people aren't.

I used to believe in God, now I'm starting to think that if there ever was someone up there He got sick of all the shit people've done on Earth and just left to create an other world -.-
I never ask people what they believe in, I just think it's none of my business.

That's really annoying.
I'm so sick of religion at the moment, because here they have this really big argument on weather gay people should be allowed to be priests or not.
And they are treating them like they are some decease, and I have to say that I'm slightly ashamed of the Norwegian society at the moment.
But, yeah.
I don't have anything against people believing in whatever they do.
My uncle's an atheist, and he's one of the leaders in some sort of foundation thing over here.
And he's not a satanist.
He wore a humanism button to church when my brother got married x] That was fun.

But when we're on religion, I have to say that the priest in our church is the best.
She was one of the first female priests, and she doesn't care at all what other people believe, just as long as she's allowed to believe what she wants to.
I don't really believe in the whole God thing, but I still go to church every Christmas just to see her.

I was christened Anglican but honestly I have no idea what I believe in.
I personally don't see religion as a big important thing. To me, it just seems like this thing that was created to fill in time, y'know?

I hate when people say you're secretly Satanist - that's happened to me before, and, goddamnit <--- so not intentional, if I was a Satanist I'd freaking say so. It is not devil worship.

I don't really know what I believe. I'm not an atheist. I believe in - for lack of a better word- something. I tell people that I don't believe in organized religion, which is true.

Anyway, I kind of side with Sardonic Grin. Some people are just so stupid that I want to bash their face in and attempt to find their brains.

I am christian, and I am totally against other christians telling people that they will go to hell because they believe a different religion or because they don't have a religion.

It doesn't make you a bad person at all. Infact, the fact that they were basically bible-bashing you and trying to make you feel bad for not believing what they believe makes them bad people.

You should be allowed to believe what you want. Even those christian friends of yours should know that, because it actually says in the bible that God made people with the ability to make their own choices. So, really, seeing as though they are christians, they aren't very good ones if they are denying you your right to free choice.

So stick with whatever you want, and believe in what you want, because ultimately it's up to you. Just ignore those people, they clearly have no idea about their religion.

I'm a Catholic, but it's such a harsh religion that I can't follow all the rules that they preach. It causes me to have immense guilt and psychological problems... But I believe in God.

That doesn't mean I'm going to judge you =]
And yes, I pride myself in being non-judgemental haha.

Just because you're an atheist doesn't mean you don't try to do good deeds and help others.
