I've definitely had a lot of those "friends" in the past
A true friend is far more than that dictionary definition. A true friend is there through good and bad. A true friend loves you when you forget how to love yourself. A true friend is willing to listen when you call him or her at 1am because you really need someone to talk to. Yeah, you might fight with them from time to time but they are there when it really matters, when you really need them. True friends are hard to find and they are irreplaceable.

    Nah, that ain't friendship.

I would define a friend as a person who you can be your best self with.

I know how that feels... And it sucks. But the whole world isn't like that. I usually can't stand my best friend because she is SO insufferably cocky and she's dumber than a door knob, plus the fact that she stole my bf, but I don't have any idea what I would do without her. We are always there for eachother, through thick and thin, and even though we fight more than we should, she is like my sister. So, don't give up just yet. Keep trying, and if it doesn't work out, then your friend(s) are really missing out. If things turn out okay, then you know that it was a good thing to keep trying. Good Luck!
