I know all of the mods and admin. They are all lovely people and wouldn't ban someone for nothing.

Obviously what you said warranted a ban, whether you think so or not.

The rules are your warning. They should be enough. You shouldn't need another warning telling you you're going to be banned.

Mibba hasn't become strict. These rules have always existed. If people bothered to read the rules they wouldn't get banned. It's your own fault.

If you don't like the rules, then leave. Simple enough. (:

I totally agree with you on how strict this place is and they shouldn't get mad about us complaining they should listen. I agree they dont HAVE to tell you if your getting banned but it is respectful to do so. What if you didnt know you did something wrong? If they want to stay in business they should give a little. Some of their rules i agree with dont get me wrong but writing should be about creativity and writing how you want to not how some random person says. I say loosen up and give fair warnings in turns of banning and such.

By spamming they meant the first post, not that you replied.
    Replying is allowed.

Quote from the Mibba rules :
    5. Spam (that is, any material that is pointless or does not contribute to the discussion) is discouraged and persistent spamming will lead to topics being closed.

    7. Making hate comments about a band, person, website et cetera is not allowed. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Someone could take this journal as making a hate comment towards Mibba. So just be careful what you write.

The rules are in place to help people. Basic grammar, spelling, and formatting are all necessities in life, and they hardly constitute being "really great at writing."

And no, there's no rule that mods have to warn you before they ban you. It's their right and responsibility as moderators to ban those who are breaking the rules.

You actually got off easy, if your ban really ends on August 4th, because I was told that the minimum ban time was a month.
