I agree, but personally I still like homophobic people, it's just the homophobic part that bug's me about them. They don't have to like gay people, but they don't have to hate on them. I think there people too and deserve the respect that everyone else gets. But I do agree about the whole gay story hand job/blow job thing. I find it disgusting.

I understand...but maybe you shouldn't read those stories if you don't like them?

I understand. I don't think homophobic people are bad at all. I have a best friend who gets creeped out by gay people. While it gets annoying when I say that a gay couple is really cute or something, and she's like "Ew, why do you think that?" and then go on a psycho religous rant. The only homophobic people I don't like are the ones that abuse homosexual people. And then certain people from my church who are always trying to get me to change my mind about gay people. That it's "wrong and immoral" or whatever they say. But, considering I'm bisexual, I really don't care. Okay, I'm ending my rant here. :)

It's understandable. You're in a place where being gay isn't all that accepted but look you're making an effort to accept them. That's better than others can say.

Some gays do piss me off too. Like Jeffree Star, and I have a reason for that one.

There's nothing wrong with not liking/being uncomfortable around gay people, or whatever. It's fine. People can't help how they feel. You can't help how you were raised, either. I have friends who are similar to you, and I also have friends who are gay.

They only time I have a problem with it is when people are abusive, either physically or mentally.

Simply not liking gay people doesn't make you a bad person.

And I can assume you'll be getting hate comments.

    But, I agree.

I mean just because someone's homophobic doesn't mean they're a bad person. Or for that matter that they don't have gay friends.

I myself am bi and I have friends that are homophobic, they just don't bring up the fact and they tend to see me as one of the guys than a chick. And they're completely fine with my sexuality, as long as I don't start flirting with them or whatever. It's the same thing as saying "homophobia is gay." Isn't that a contradicting sentence? Smiley

But I'm stopping there or I'll start to ramble.

This is extremely understandable. I do like gay people, I have a few friends, but the gays kinda like.... uh, Chris Crocker for example, really piss me off. But only because he/they think they are so much better than everyone else.

Anywho... this journal isn't bitchy. That's how you grew up and that happens with a lot of people. I've stopped saying homophobia is gay (partly because I sounded stupid) because I realized that people are going to have their own opinions about the gay community.

i understand what you're saying about the whole story thing... that's kind of disgusting, but i would be saying the same thing if it was a man and a woman. i aso think that the people that are so overly NOT homophobic are sort of the ones who create homophobia because of the big deal they make it out to be...
