I just got back from holiday and am reading the chapters now and then I'm going to comment because I agree with you completley. You want to know what people think of your story just like I do mine.

Who ever posted that kina sucks; I perfectly understaand why you have the comment system; it's great writer feedback and sometimes people give out advice.

comments are a great way to get to know what your readers think and i think the comment system works fine. dont let people be butt heads about it.

i subscribed to this story ages ago then i didnt cheak my email for like monthes*actualy a few weeks very behind on my subcriptions* so i was like
"I really love this story"
when i finally did get your updated chapters i was like a lot far behind so after reading your journal post i thought i would comment cause it makes you happy and a happy author means a happy reader cause you update XD and i would just like to say your story is one of the best i have read in a while i will comment now your story cus you updated cause you are that ace =] even after somthing like that you update that is very very nice =]

I know how you feel love, but hey! At least I comment every chapter, or every 2 chapters depending on when I get the updates. I wish I could get more comments for my stories to ocause I love knowing what people think even if it is just a "I love it update soon!" lol

So keep on writing, I love this story as you well know... I tell you practically everyday i talk to you! lol.

I do understand, when I wrote my first story, I had three chapter already written and out.Then when I only got six readers for it.No on commented.Then I had to make a friend of mine join and tell me what he thought.It sucked knowing no one wanted to comment.So I deleted the story.Anyways, It pissed me off to no end knowing that no one commented or even liked my story,but you should be to mad,cause a lot of people love your story and think its great!

In response to The Guitar Man, the thing with the 30 comments is that I am getting them in one day so there are a lot of commenters, all I want is to know what people are thinking and it upsets me that people think I'm just trying to get comments for my 'writing vanity' because I'm not! It's to know what people are thinking because I need to know if my standard of writing isn't what it should be.

Commens are nice, but I can understand how that's annoying to them.
Withholding updates until you get a certain ammount of comments is looked down upon by some. And, like I said, I completely understand why.
The last thing some people want to see is "I REFUSE TO UPDATE UNTIL I GET (comment#}!". All of us like having people read our stories, and to comment (usually, that just means getting countless 'zomgi<3it!'s)...but, at that point, it's a bit of a childish thing to do.

If you don't like writing the story, that's your choice. Don't expect other people to be the motivation for your writing; you should enjoy it for yourself. Perhaps the people who commented when you said you were giving up the story were people who actually like the story. They weren't DEMANDING! anything of you, or getting angry that you were quitting; they were just telling you 'Hey! I like this story! plz don't stop!'.

Some people don't leave comments because they don't know what to say, or they don't like saying nothing but 'i luv this!' over and over. Some people, like myself, like to leave con-crit' but are afraid of reactions. Just because a person doesn't leave reviews doesn't mean they don't like it.

But, asking for 30 comments an update IS a bit extreme, and, like this little reply said; I can understand why it annoys people, and you should calm down a bit. It's nothing to get pissed off about.

Write for yourself, though.

I try to cemment. Sometimes I forget, but the first time I read this story you were already on chapter 46, You've updated fast since then! =]

I understand. It frustrates me sometimes. Because the reader hits doesn't give you a good indication in the end because a person could've just scrolled down to the end of the page in the end and not read it.

Comments are a good communication between the reader and author as to what the person can improve on and what they don't need to.

It depresses me I can't comment cause I got banned for a month. >.<
