Do you have a muse that helps you write? If so, what are they like?

My muse is an infant boy named Eli. He is protective, caring, and sweet. Though he is nothing more than a one year-old boy, Eli provided me with the push I need to keep writing and provides me with inspiration for all of my stories, particularly my vampire story.

    I have multiple muses.
Music, people, situations, my own life, other people's lives.
I can never tell what will inspire me.

I find inspiration in every thing.
A single word someone said has sent me off on a writing tangent before.
It could be a walk in the park, an intelligent conversation, or merely a song.

    My muse.. hm..
I suppose all these little romantic things that happen in my life.
I got my whole story idea off of a radio show I heard, though.

If I have to choose a single person as my muse, it'd have to be Serena. I might get ideas from anything and everything, but she's the only one who helps me take those ideas and turn them into genuine stories.

    ~Life~ is my muse.
Bad trips, falling outs, bad days, really anything that is absolutely shitty makes me write and gives me the urge to write. Kinda like a form of therapy. I suppose.
I've found muses in friends too. they say something that will trigger me, from the random things we say. odd 3 am conversations, misunderstandings.
When I feel my worse, I write my best. Lol, insert some lame lyric how misery is my muse.
Okay. I don't know. Inspiration only comes on sad days.

Travelling in the car is my muse.

I'll look out the window and see something that inspires me, so I'll note it down quickly and write it when I get home.

I have quite a lot of things. . . songs, films, dreams I've had, hmm. . . sometimes I pluck ideas out of tiny things that happen in my life.

A lot of the times inspiration hits me when I'm in lessons, especially English Literature lessons ironically enough :tehe:
    Music as well obviously.

It really depends on what story I'm writing. Like the one I'm startignt right now is about Mikey Way, but my muse is his depression and anxiety battle. I want people to be aware of how I would and how I do interpret his struggle. Also, like most people, I find muses in music. Some of my other muses are people; I.E. Jamie, the guy that founded To Write Love On Her Arms.

I find a muse in random and strange things. Inspiration seems to pop up when I'm least expecting it.
I've gotten ideas from a single word or simple description in classes. I've gotten them from movies, songs, books, it goes on and on.
The only bad thing is inspiration seems to avoid me when I need it most and pops up when I stop searching for it.

My oldest muses were my musicians. I love finding obscure musicians like Lannen Fall, X86, ACM, The Perfect Wake and others, and making them my own. I'll borrow lyrics and use song titles from them, and nobody ever knows. The fact that I'm one of a select few people to hear their music inspires me in an indescribable way.
My most important muses are my friends, I suppose. However, my most recent muse is my baby cousin Dylan. He was born incredibly prematurely, and he couldn't eat for the first few weeks of his life. He is so strong to have made it this far, and though he is less than a year old, I can already feel the love radiating off of him. He's going to be a great boy, I can tell. [/rant]

    Odd things.

    Especially adverts. :cheese:

There's a bloody brilliant one for Smirnoff vodka right now when you see the old boats and ships and planes rise up from the sea. It feels wasted on an advert for booze and not a sci-fi fic.

Sometimes I play The Breakfast Club when I'm working on a high school based story. The movie is especially influential to my story Creep Is Dead. I also watch Degrassi.
    :tehe:

Other than that, I listen to certain playlists I've made and maybe look at pictures.

^ Sometimes I make playlists, too :tehe:

But when I'm desperate for inspiration, I'll usually go outside into my back garden and have a little walk. Sometimes it really helps, sometimes it doesn't do anything. :|

I've had so many muses in my life. I haven't had any in awhile, though, but my most recent ones were Rev and Ven. They constantly bickered, and tried to keep me on track. They also failed at restraining me from chasing cheese people.
