INORITE? I find it so annoying that it's stereotyped for only girls to have diaries.
...though I've yet to find a guy who has a journal and writes in religiously. :shifty
Meh, my friend Jaime probably has one anyway. :lmfao
I know a guy who writes in a journal every day. he has since elementary and is now in high school. He used to bring it to school but some girls took it so they could find out who he liked so he never brought it back again.

I sorta do. I only write in it when I'm really upset though. It's not a daily thing. It does really help me calm down though...

No. My writing is sort of my diary.
People who know me well [parents, really close friends] say you can read pretty much any of my stories and tell what I was going through or how I felt at the time.
I don't like writing about myself unless it's SI fiction.
My life sucks enough [or is boring enough if it's not a "life sucks" day] without having to waste paper on it.

I have a diary/journal but now it is all online in a blog. Can guys call them diary's, It just sounds weird to call it that instead of a journal. I used to LOVE to write down my daily thoughts then I stopped, I need to start back up again.

I'd be lost without my journal.
When I was about 11, I thought it was really childish, and threw it away. I lasted about a month before I got a new one.
It really helps me because when I'm upset or annoyed, it doesn't help me to talk about it, that just irritates me more. So I write. It could be about complete nonsense, but it makes me feel better.

How did you put documents under password? I can never figure out how. :grr:
    It's actually easy. :tehe:
Noboby uses the computer here in my house apart from me, so there's no real danger in anyone reading them. But since I'm so paranoid, I still put them under password. :con:
    Sunny Shines:
^Speaking of passwords. Did anyone here have those journals that were locked in a case and only opened with voice recognition? I remember all the chicks at school had 'em in primary school and they would spend about ten minutes trying to unlock it. :lmfao
    :lmfao :lmfao
I wanted one of those when I was little. My parents never bought me one. :snob

Same, ^^ but when I look back and remember them,
    They were kinda crappy,
I mean who wants a journal that you can't read back to because its in invisable ink and you lost the tourch,
And the girls that had them allways named them something crappy like their boyf's football team or something.
    ARGH.

Some of my stories/oneshots express what I feel, tells what's going on in a way. But I do have one journal about my home-life so I can use it to show my mum, like she asked me to. I hide it because if my dad or stepmother found it they'd go off. They'd don't like knowing how I feel.

Little do they both know that by the end of this year I will no longer be living with them. ::Ranting:

I have a diary, I've kept it nearly a year now! Victory
I love it. It's a paperchase one. Dance
This guy read it once, I went MENTAL and roared at him.
    :tehe:
I have my (semi)public one, which I let my friends read, and then a super-private-under-locks-and-chains one, which I barely write in, only when I'm upset or angry or lovestruck, Haha.

I really want one, but then I worry that it will fall into someones hands and I can't share everything with someone until I find the perfect, and I mean 100% perfect person.

I have one. I used to write in it all the time, but lately, I haven't had much to complain or boast about. I like to stick pictures in there as well, and draw them in. It's sort of like... I dunno, a scrapbook of my feelings :shifty

My friend read my journal the other [I relented and took to writing in one] day and she cried. I forgot that I was actually keeping one when I last posted in this thread because diary and journal to me just don't connect, no idea why. But anyway, it's sort of my little book that I write in like my mum told me to. It's going to be shown to my dad, mum etc when the time comes for mum and I to try and get me up there with her.

I don't because i'm afraid my brothers would find it, sometimes I buy really nice journals but they look too nice so I don't actually use them.
When I feel like getting something out I normally just write it on my computer and delete it afterwards.

I was reading what my friend was writing in her diary when we were on the plane once, I felt kind of band but it wasn't anything personal. I would have stopped reading if it was, probably.

I always write in mine. Even if it was a boring day, I still write in it.
It's usually about pointless things that no-one would care about, anyway. :file:

My writing functions as my diary. It's quite possibly the best way to get my emotions out of my system.

That's exactly what I was going to say.

I've tried keeping journals/diaries so many times it's painful. I have such a distinctive memory, so I end up remembering a lot of things... I've tried talking myself into keeping a journal/diary before, and I have so many empty notebooks it's crazy, but it just doesn't work out. Maybe when my life becomes more exciting I'll start keeping a journal/diary. Who knows... :file:

I have a diary =) I'm not so good at writing in it regularly though - I only just finished the S Club Seven diary I've had since I was 7 :XD

I've had many diaries, but I always stopped writing in them because I forgot about it. I was also incredibly paranoid that someone would find it and read it.

I've had sooo many diaries, it's unreal, but the thing is, is that I never finish them. It's not that I forget about it, it's just that I read back over it, think of how incredibly horrible the entries were and then I would throw it out. I'm about to start a new one and I'm going to try not to read back over previous entries.

It's such a nice journal. It's a Markings by C.R. Gibson. I'm in love with it. In Love
