What Distracts You?

Right now?
My brother - we're talking on MSN as he's at uni and we're catching up.
We've not spoken in months so it's nice to talk to him.

School...homework...assignments.

I suppose Mibba distracts me from those things rather than the other way around. Poor school work...it gets neglected a lot.

Umm, the fact that I've planned the story so much everything is a blur when I'm about to write it. I try to get down everything, almost stressing through the whole story...

A lot. A story I want to read, the urge to dance, NCIS, Videogames, my sisters kicking me off the computer....etc etc.

Facebook <--it's addicting. I can't help it.

And the second real book I'm writing. I can't decide whether to stay faithful to the readers on here or to write for myself, ahaha.

Really hot guys that I find attractive.

And manga. Always have to re-read that Rurouni Kenshin book.

I can't work for a couple of hours after receiving one...
Man I miss him...

In all honestly, mibba distracts me! :cheese:
I try to write, but I end up just opening the tab for mibba again.
Then I get lost in the forums and forget all about the story.
It's quite frustrating.

Right now, I'm tidying my room, putting CD's onto my computer and singing along to my Ipod dock.
I would be writing an on Mibba but my parent's have grounded me until my room is done and my brother Pat is coming home from Uni next weekend and hates it when my room's a pig sty...

The TV distracts me so much.
If a good show comes on while I'm trying to write, I'll just end up giving up and focusing on the TV show and not really have any idea what I'm doing on the computer.
MSN distracts me.
Some of the people that talk to me on there can get very distracting. When I get talking to people on MSN I'll totally forget about the story I'm supposed to be writing and focus more on them.

I get distracted by a lot of things. I'm easily distracted. But some things distract me more than others.

Mibba distracts me.
The boards do, anyway.

Everything distracts me.
If I see the slightest thing I will stop writing, hence why I only release about 1 story every year but I fail to complete each one of them!

Youtube, Mibba, AIM, etc.

And weirdly enough, Music distracts me.
If I listen to music while writing, I start singing along to the lyrics, or start thinking about the certain singers/bands. It drives me nuts! So whenever I'm writing, it shall be silent ;)

MSN, mibba, forums, myspace etc. I always say I will just sit and write and not go on any of these things so I can concentrate but it never works.

The INTERNET! And the telly, at times.
But most esp. the internet, since I always use the computer to type my stories, I always find myself in Facebook five minutes later, completely forgetting what I'm supposed to be writing.

Forcing myself to write. Also, school. That distracts me a lot.

The forums, my iPod (sometimes), my cell phone, the television especially.

Mibba boards.
And my hair I just have the urge to mess with it always when I'm writing.

It depends on my mood. Usually when I want to write I put myself in a completely different state of mind [it's one of the few times I am in a non-distractable zone.]
In general, activities that cause me to put off writing on things are listening to music, watching certain tv shows [mostly Doctor Who related. ], or pretty much anything on the internet. [although, in regards to this site, I tend to frequent the writer forums here, so it at least makes me think of writing and puts me in the mood to do so when I log off.]
