The all over colour I had is growing out but I also got a half head of foils done. I like it but kinda expensive to be doing regularly.

I think crazy colour comes out best on natural blonde or hazel hair.
I dyed my hair blonde once (used crazy colour blonde), a day after I went to the swimming pool and my hair turned green.
    Yup, okay.

I really want to dye my hair for autumn, but I'm torn on a color.

I either want a sort of dark maple leaf red like I sued to have or a dark chestnut color. I'm a medium-light brown right now. Brown seems the most practical, but I miss being red. I'm just worried that it'll clash with a lot of my clothes.

I don't like my brown hair. >.< I've been dying it black for over a year. I'm not sure if I want to dye it all dark red or just dye sections of it red. My mom would probably like the sections thing better. It's funny because she was all mad about me getting my hair dyed black but afterwords she said it looked really good. Disgust

I prefer my hair raven black, but my natural color is a dark brown. I've died it pink, had blonde, caramel, and red highlights. I love dying my hair. Of course it's difficult with black hair, but now that I'm going to beauty school it's going to be hard to resist doing all kinds of crap to my hair. I was supposed to dye my hair before I moved, I think I wanted like a blackcherry color, but I think for now I'll probably leave it alone. I'm growing it out as it is, don't want to cause anymore breakage Sad

I really dont like my natural hair color. so i originally dyed it red. Got tons of compliments, everyone thought my cheeks looked rosier or somthing. Stayed with red for 2 years, then got red on top black on bottom but the black washed out. After that i foolishly got 1 box of splat bleach and used it. got great golden yellow hair. then lately i died it brown. realized yesterday that the brown was to light.

soon i shall cut it all off and dye it blue!! Mr. Green

Mine is bright bright red and dark brown at the moment - The upkeep is a bitch but i love it, so it's worth it. I used to have Manic Panic Electric Lava iin my hair but it was hard to come by where I am and I couldnt afford the internet postage all the time.. oh well, the compromise is a good one, so eh, i don't care..

I've only used koolaid on the ends of my hair, and this spray stuff my friend and I brought at Michael's as a joke. Every brunette knows it's seriously hard to make yourself buy dye/color when there's no guarantee that it will show up in your hair. Red koolaid tints your hair auburn, though, if it's brown. As for blondes, it turns it MEGA RED, like that chick off of Sonic X. I got the koolaid fad going around here, no one had heard of it until my best friend and I did it, and we've actually done a lot of girl's hair! It's the best way to go if you want something simple that won't mess up your hair. Keep in mind though, it's a b*tch when it starts to fade out of blonde hair.

As for the spray stuff...eh, it comes off on your clothes. not worth it.

I've had various hair colors over the years. The first time I dyed my hair, I was 13. I had blonde hair naturally, and I didn't like it. So, I dyed it brown. It faded really quickly since it was only semi-permanent. A month or two after that, I convinced my mom to let me dye it burgundy. Since then, I've rocked the red hair, black hair, pink hair, purple hair, brown hair, blonde hair, two-toned/multicolored hair, etc.

Right now, I'm currently rockin' this hair, and that's also my senior picture. Thumb up

I dye my hair pretty much every other week. I've had blue, white, black, orange, pink, crayon red, natural red, natural blonde, purple, brown... And every shade associated with those colors. Currently my hair is a natural strawberry blonde with highlights on top and the bottom layer a light brown.

Generally I would be worried about the damage being done, but, since my hair is so short I'm usually cutting it every 3-4 weeks so anything that gets damaged just gets chopped anyways ^^

I started dying my hair at around 7. My first time was bright red. My hair is naturally light blond but I never seemed to enjoy the color. I didn't like the way it was with my blue colored eyes. I dyed it about every color but green or blue. I've had it cut in almost every way too. Last year I had a red and black Mohawk. It's currently red but my favorite was when I went to my senior prom with purple hair. A word of advice if anyone wants black and don't want it to fade I would use Revalon color dye. It's three dollars here in Texas and it very rich in color. It took forever for it to lighten up.

Revalon is perfect for dying your hair dark. However, I don't like using their red dye. It fades way too quickly unlike other reds I've tried. :x

I have a permanent dark purple-red on my hair. It's a bitch to dye, because the dye doesn't completely wash out when it comes to rinsing, so you end up with purple baths/showers for ages.

I've had every hair color of the rainbow, I started dying it from my natural blonde to random colors around 11. I currently have this light auburn/copper color, that I'm trying to get back blonde. I usually dye it myself but I'm letting my mom do it this time, I always miss spots somehow, at least they're usually underneath or in the back of my hair.

My most recent hair dye adventures: I dyed my hair black back in August and in late October I bleached the hell out of it and got it back blonde and then I felt that old hair dye urge again and tried to go a nice deep, dark auburn and it turned pink with purple patches! I loved it but my job didn't. Anyways, be careful with bleach guys, it makes your hair react strangely to dye for the longest time after. I thought I'd escape it but I guess a month wasn't long enough to wait.

My hair is currently brown with blonde highlights which I have had for most of my life. I am soon going to get all over highlights so I will be almost properly blonde which I haven't been before.

I have had all over red hair (made me look even paler than I already am), dark brown (natural hair colour) pink underneath and in fringe, green underneath and in fringe, also blue, purple and green in my fringe at the same time (absolutely loved it! Would kill to do it again In Love) and I have had orange and bright red.

I've had that colour urge recently but I don't think my boss would be very pleased if I did that... Sad

I have dark brown hair and I want to dye it a shade of natural red. Nowhere near the classic Heyley Williams neon red/orange but certainly not a dull, light brown. What is the best way to achieve that in between color?

Try red highlights/lowlights. Because your hair is dark it won't fade to that pretty, in between colour without bleaching first (unless that's what you want to do). If you do bleach it, you'll have to go a deep red and let it fade until it's at that middle ground. This is dangerous because you risk ending up with ginger/brass toned hair.

I've been there, done that. Red is a bitch to get out, though, so be warned.
