Hair Dye

I dye my hair a lot... I've have it red, pink, blue, blond, a weird mixture of pink and blue, crimson, and my favorite, purple.

I was planning on dying it green, but I simply adore my color right now.

Question.
Is it normal to get split ends after you've bleached part of your hair?

yup. bleach is hellspawn to hair.

I always dye my hair, my natural hair colour is between dirty blond and light brown but it looks weird, kind of grayish and I don't like it.
The only natural colour I haven't dyed my hair is light blond.
My hair is usually black or dark red but I'm thinking about trying a different colour, something that will stand out with some not-so-natural colours :)

I'm in a house where my mom (who's had nine back surgeries and lost most of her hair) has extentions, and dyes her hair frequently. I used to model when I was really little, and my light blonde hair started growing out brown, so my mom started bleaching it. For about ten years, I was blonde. Seventh grade, I wentt red, then back to blonde for the beginning of 8th, and now that I'm out of 8th, I've been my natural color since like...November? lol.

I've been dying my hair since I was eleven years old, because I get random grey hairs among my natural colour and it stands out so much. People point it out a lot, so I cover it up with hair dye.

I had bright pink in my hair a few months ago and I adored it. I was almost crying when I dyed it again. Hairdye is quite wonderful.

My friend usually dyes my hair for me, but she hates wearing the gloves so she usually goes around with dark brown hands for a couple of months after she's dyed my hair. :tehe:

At some point, I'm hoping to get blue high lights in my hair, but I'm not sure if or when that is going to happen. I need to get a job, and some places are quite picky about that kind of stuff.

The first time I ever dyed my hair was in the fourth grade. So, I was eight or nine. I dyed it red because I liked this girl's hair color at my school. It ended up looking horrible, but I still like changing things up every now and then.

I also liked the way Hilary Duff's hair looked when it was blond with tiny black streaks, so I went to have that done. Apparently the girl doing it was retarded because she gave me black hair with huge blonde streaks. I looked like a skunk. It was horrible. But then I dyed it all one shade of brown, so the black turned a really dark brown and the blond, a lighter shade. It looked very nice like that. I like my hair darker. :)

I've dyed my hair around five times. I would have dyed it more, but my friend loves to tell me that she had a color like the one I picked out... So I don't do it. Last week, I dyed it 'Havana'. :cute:

I bleached my hair, and it died, so now I have to tint it.

I used to dye my hair alot. I've had red, blonde, brown, blue, purple, white. Mah. My hair slowly died and now it's in a terrible state; the texture is of a piece of sandpaper. I swear. Ugh.

I've just resorted to my natural hair colour until it gets healthy again. I'm going pink or light blue next. Not sure yet. I like having different hair. (L)

I've just bleached my hair a week ago. The hair itself hasn't died yet, but my scalp seriously has. First, the bleach burned the skin, the skin turned into scabs, and now little pieces of dry skin are falling off. It's kind of gross, actually, but, I can cure it with special shampoo.

I'm totally sorry if anyone finds that disgusting. :shifty

I wanna dye my hair, but the problem is, we don't have money and I so bet that my parents wouldn't allow me until I get to college or something, because my school is so strict with any different from the hair.

I bought purple dye this afternoon!

I'm considering going a coppery gingery colour, or baby blue, but I think I'd miss my white hair too much. Maybe in winter. :think:

^ Haha yeah, I know, I've had it before. It went a funny shade of green after about a week but it looks so nice for like...two days. It stained like mad as well.

Anyone have any non-scary bleach stories? :tehe:

my blue never faded out for 2 months..and even at that it just went lighter blue XD maybe i'm lucky or maybe it was good dye O_O
