I don't know, people seem to be taking my posts the wrong way. All I'm saying is, Plan B isn't perfect, it has it's pros and cons, although I wouldn't doubt its legalisation for a second. Using it as regular contraception = pumping foreign steroids into your body = bad. :]

It's either. Sexually transmitted disease or sexual transmitted infections. There is no wrong or right.

I agree that there should be no age limit. In all honesty, peole should be able to have sex when they wan't, depending on if their ready [Its debateable whether a 13 year old would be ready or not but hey ho]. But, for example where I live, in England, the age when sex is legal is 16. So, if a 13 year old went to the pharmacy/doctors to get the morning after pill, although they are concerned for their wellbeing, wouldn't it make it illegal for them to hand out the pill? I don't know if it would be an exeption, when its not legal to have sex until 16. Although, if a person where raped, for example, I think if they didnt want the baby, they should definatly be able to have the moring after pill.

The MAP is given out in hospitals to rape victims.
In the US, at least.

Two things. As you said, that really had nothing to do with the MAP.
Secondly, that age is fourteen. The age to buy the MAP is 16. They don't coincide.

Wow. Dude, you need to get your info straight. It's not a fricken Abortion Pill. (Which doesn't terminate a life either, but that's not the point) It prevents the egg from being fertilized. It can't destroy the already fertilized egg.

Pedophilia is still illegal; it wouldn't change that.
It would just stop sexually active young people from having babies that they didn't want.

The MAP is legal in the US. But you have to be sixteen or have a prescription to buy it. They give it to rape victims in the hospital.

Here's something interesting. Massachusetts law requires MAP to be in all hospitals and distributed to "any female rape victim of child-bearing age" including Catholic hospitals which oppose all forms of birth control.

Personally, I don't care if it's a Catholic hospital. If you get raped and that's the closest hospital, you should have MAP made available to you.

It's a bit silly if you ask me. There shouldn't be an age limit on it, you're allowed to buy condoms and stuff at any age, so what's wrong with buying this?
I would personally hate to go to my parents and ask permission for it.
It'd be embarassing and I'd probably get a lecture. :roll:

Lucky you. Lots of kids would get a lot more than that. And some might not get the pill.
