Chilero(a): Cool. "Esa babosada esta chilera!"
Virgo: Same are Chilero. "Mano, que virgo!"
Cozo: "Mira ese cozo!" Normally used whenever you don't know what the hell the thing you're refering to is called.
Animal: Used to insult friends without really insulting them. "Mierda! Que animal sos!"

    Cardiff slang is appalling.

I'll do it now in a minute - I will do something soon. eg. I'll tidy my room now in a minute.

Tidy - Cool. eg. Your t-shirt is tidy

Butt - ...I don't even know...but eg Alright, butt? is a popular saying. And anything you hear on Gavin and Stacy is genuine slang :XD

(beware, some of these are crazy Cajun French words slaughtered by non Cajun French speakers)

bookoo (derived from the french word beaucoup) = a lot "Man, your Mama has bookoo shoes."

neutral ground = meridian; the strip of grass in the middle of streets.

snowballs = snowcone like ice treats that come in flavours ranging from spearmint to Smurf to Grasshopper

beignets = fried donut type pastries coated in powdered sugar. People come all over for coffee and beignets at Cafe Du Monde.

Going by the *insert name here* = instead of saying "going to" most New Orleanians say "going by". I know, it makes no sense.

Who dat? = annoying Saints fan speak. No one knows what it means but it's shouted at every Saints game.

Making groceries = going to purchase some groceries

Make do-do (pronounced like "dough".) = go to sleep "I'm gonna make do-do."

Lagniappe = something extra that you toss in for free. "Here's the shirts you ordered and some lagniappe"

Da/The Parish = any local knows that even though Louisiana has parishes and not counties, there is only ONE "The Parish" aka Chalmette, a small town outside New Orleans. (where I live. :XD)

Yea, you right! = something positive.

Yatspeak = Chalmette and the surrounding areas accents, very distinct.

Cher (pronounced "sha".) = dear love "Oh, cher, it'll be alright."

    beaux-beaux (pronounced bow-bow) = like boo-boo

:XD yes, a lot of these came from a site that refreshed my memory. I posted the ones that are used.

Aha, I have a very long list.

Get wazzed/get sauced/get pissed - Get drunk eg. "Me and the boys are going out to get sauced/wazzed/pissed tonight."

Raakie, pronounced "raaah-key" - Skid in a car eg. "Pull a mean raakie!"

Jew - I can only give an example. "Hey man can I borrow $2.50?"
"Sorry I need it for this afternoon."
    "You're a jew."
Bad example. I think thats quite a popular one everywhere. :shifty

Beached/parched - tired eg. "I'm beached as man/I'm parched as man."

Bro - friendly gesture toward someone you know or don't know.
eg. "I'll have a cheeseburger combo thanks bro."
eg. "Hey bro, what are you doing today?"
    For formal & informal use.

Mean - cool eg. "Mean car man!"

Keen - really want to do something eg. "Keen to get sauced tonight, bro."

    Thats all for now.
