Anything remotely related to sex. I wouldn't know the first thing about how it would feel, much less how to describe the whole episode.

And after that, I am TERRIBLE at writing the climaxes of my stories, because every time i try, I can't seem to induce/concur up the emotion needed to make that scene memorable. I either focus too much on the dialogue, or the physicality of it, or the background details, and at least one of those things get completely neglected in the process so the scene ends up feeling like it's missing something. It's like a continuity error in a movie - the director was so set on perfecting one thing they forgot to look put for another. Any advice on how to write climaxes would be really appreciated ;)

I hate writing death scenes. Mainly cause they involve me killing off a character I have seen grow, mature and been with them through all their struggles (even though I'm the oneput it there in the first place). When they die its like ripping a piece of them away from me.

Not so much in writing, but I hate being proofread. It's completely necessary, but I feel like the stupidest person in the world when they reply with what needed to be fixed. And I know it's much better than other people noticing it when I post it, but, gah Facepalm. It's humiliating.

Also, wrote a particularly sexual chapter today. Not an actual sex scene, but a lot of sexual thoughts. Got past those okay. But then, when they actually kiss each other. Just a kiss. My mind froze up.

I think it's because it's the combination of not knowing how to describe kissing without 'I wrestled with his wet muscle as it invaded my moist cavern' and the fact that I haven't been kissed in a long time. God, I wish I could just borrow someone's lips to kiss and refresh my memory lmfao.

I don't like writing scenes that are supposed to be like, passionately romantic. I can do scenes where it shows the characters clearly love each other. I can do fluff, and even enjoy it. I can do downright passion. But I can't do romance. I'm just not romantic, I guess, and none of my boyfriends have been either.

And I agree with sibyl vane. I don't like being proofread or beta'd. In my mind, I'm like, "God, they probably think I'm so stupid and elementary".
...Which is why I no longer have others proofread/beta my work, as awful as that may be. :/

^ Personally, when I beta (which has only been a couple times) I usually think that the good far outweighs the bad, and even when it doesn't I'm thinking that at least they're trying to make it better. I've never thought, 'omg this person is so stupid, what a dumb mistake' because we've all made them.

^ Same here. Even if there's a lot of corrections to be made, I'm always thinking that at least they care enough about their work and improving to have someone take a look at it.
I love writing prologues/intro-type first chapters, but I hate writing that piece that actually transitions into the first chapter of the story. That's always the hardest for me.

Hah, a friend of mine proofread something I wrote earlier today. And after the corrections he did the unfailing 'other than that, this is really good stuff' line, and I'm just like, 'You lying bastard!' XD.

Females. I can't write female characters to save my life. I've probably said this before but considering I am a girl I feel this is a bad thing and quite discouraging.

lmfao That's an award-winning description right there.

I just realized this week how much I hate opening scenes. And writing those chapters that are neccessary info-dumps.

I hate writing beginnings of stories. Once I'm past that I'm golden but writing like the who, the where, the when etc etc just feels so tedious. I usually start writing in the middle and then the beginning after tehe

Sex: I can do foreplay but the sex part is hard. I don't even like talking about that kind of stuff around people regularly and I definitely don't want to hear about it. I don't know, I feel sex is a sacred matter sometimes and shouldn't be discussed freely to anyone that's around you.

Action pact parts: My stories tend to be kind of slow in the beginnings but pick up a whole lot further into the story. It takes me some time to get to the action part. Then it all dies down at the end... I might want to work on that, or not. I guess it's my style.

Romances: I'm so not a romantic that it's not even funny. I really don't like romantic parts.

Dialogue. It's the absolute bane of my existence. I think it's because I'm the epitome of socially awkward; I'm terrible when it comes to talking, and it comes out in my writing.

I'm always better at doing my characters' thoughts but they're not always relevant to particular parts of the story.

So yeah, I'm a failure when it comes to dialogue. Facepalm

I hate writing sex scenes WHEN I'm not in the mood. It comes out as too forced and too eh.
Getting to the action. My pacing is so slow sometimes and I want to hit myself.

Elaborate sex scenes. Writing about every single unnecessary detail of the scenery (e.g. the bird in the corner cooed for its missing mom, the leaf at the left just moved I swear to god, the bush in front of me was staying still, the soil was dark brown, the burly tree trunks reached upwards from the ground).

Also, I don't like writing stories that I end up not finishing because they're just a waste of time.

Romance, plain and simple. I tried and instead of it being romantic ... it kind of comes off tragic. I mean, sure, I can write it whilst roleplaying, but my god, if it's for a story or otherwise, I just can't do it. I always end up laughing, I'm not sure why. And that goes for anything cuddly, kissing, holding hands, too - mostly because I hate when people do that to me, so.

I hate with a passion, writing filler chapters. I'm just like "This is so boring! Why am I bothering!" And then I remember I have to write the backstory and fill everyone in on why everything is going on. And it's just plain boring.
