I'm extreamly lucky (in my opinion) that my church has that rappish, more well, not traditional Christian music. I love a lot I'm not listening but well here:

Hawk Nelson (canadian and the reason for my username! :P)
    Britt Nicole (kinda rapish)
    Natalie Grant (Ah-mazing)
    Superchick (rock/metal)

lol cool. I'm not particularly into Black metal. But, it's good to see that stereotypes can be broken.

After all...all it is, is a style of music.

I'm more of a death/thrash metal guy meself. Black metal gets annoying very fast.

Relient K, Superchick, and Chris Rice are where it's at! whoo!

I also enjoy a lot of non-Christian music.

I think that now there are a lot of bands that are Christian, without necessarily making Christian music.

    i. e., Family Force 5 is openly Christian, but don't necessarily have messages in their songs.
Well, some songs. But you get the idea.
Same deal with The Rocket Summer… and a million others I can't name off the top of my head.

Whereas Skillet, for example, has a lot of messages about God in the songs.

    Know what I mean?

How is Paramore a Christian band simply become the members are Christians?
    I agree with this.
Hayley has been quoted on occasion saying that they band isn't a Christian band due to a lot of their subject matter.
"Once a whore you're nothing more" etc.

However, that doesn't mean the band members aren't Christians. They believe, they just don't write songs praising God directly.
I heard My Heart is a song praising God but I could be wrong. Anyone know?

^I love them. Wow I'm going to see them at Soul Fest this summer (like Warped Tour for Christian bands, only they don't tour or anything - it's five days of bands in New Hampshire).

I'm also seeing Thousand Foot Krutch, Remedy Drive, Norma Jean, Wolves Among Sleep, Third Day, Sanctus Real, Fireflight and whatever other bands we have time for. Wow I'm super excited.
