Today I was thinking at work about my old Alice profile.

I remember when I had a Hatter to my Alice.

I honestly can't even remember her name anymore.

    Sad
Was it Melly? Shifty I'm not sure why but I seem to remember her at least being relatively close to you?

Remember when there was nearly three WAYT themed threads due to the splitting up of the Paninbians (which was under the Music forum, ~gasp) into The Jizzers (when they all got kicked from the Music forum to General) into...-insert the thread name here because, I don't remember it only that half of The Jizzers were unhappy with the other half-...and the mod's threatened to shut two of them down?

Nope, Melly was my wifey! And still, is, I'm sure.

No, I think her name was Sam. She's gone.

I remember when stories had star ratings. Thumb up

Oh, and member rankings. I can't even remember what they were named now. Disgust

Wordsmith, was one. Ink Slinger was another, I think. They all had to do with writing.

And then the people who got the highest one (like me) were all "give us more ranks".

Ah, see I wasn't lucky enough to get that high before they changed it.

I remember spending hours trying to get to the next rank. I also remember when posts in General/Off-Topic stopped counting.

Yeah I remember trying to post a lot too to get higher, but I joined Mibba after they stopped counting general/off-topic so it was quite harder. XD

You'd get a higher rank the more you posted. Like you'd get to 1,000 posts for example and it would change, then change when it got to 10,000 etc. I'm not sure if things like stories or articles counted but it was easier to just post a lot on the forums and get your rank up that way.

I'd love to know what my true post count is now though. tehe

If you wrote an article you got a custom rank for two weeks. Coffee It was sweet.

I was always intimidated by those with higher ranks/post counts than me. XD and so I was actually glad it was rid of because I felt more confident going on the general forum and not being scared to talk to anyone.

I still wish I knew my post count. After more than half a decade, it would be nice to see where I'm at.

    @ Carpe diem;
I never understood this mentality. It seems a lot like freshman being scared of seniors or something. I don't like the idea of hiding things because some users get scared. Some users are intimidated by good writing or users having 100+ stories, but I don't think those need hidden.

I understand that it's a weird mentality, I feel like an idiot for thinking like that but it's how I felt at the time. Plus, everybody knew each other so it just felt weird to butt in. XD

I remember when you used to get different ranks for your post count on the forums, like ghost writer and such. Those were controversial, but I think they were sweet. In Love

I miss being able to see how many registered users we had, how many pieces we'd posted combined, etc.

I remember jeph. and Bert McCookies wedding on WAYT. Cute
