and 3% thanking him for being the creator of Mibba. Ah. His profile always gave me the giggles.

And 90% of those 97% were people reporting spambots. Oh, the nostalgia.

Does anyone remember the time that we couldn't get onto Mibba because of the fabulous picture of Kanye (was it Kanye? I remember it being Kanye) that was coming up when you typed the address in? And the hundreds of thousands of times that I tried to get on the site to be brought to a blank page with BRB in the corner.

It was Kanye. It was Imma let you finish Kanye. I think that was the only time I wasn't mad at Mibba for being down.

I have never appreciated someone's sense of humour more than I did Dujo's on that day.

I remember when Mibba didn't have its own gradient bbcodes, so you either had to do it yourself somehow or use another gradient-making website to do them.
I remember when you could use gifs as icons.
And I think, once upon a time, I seem to recall we could have smileys in our signatures?

I just had this thought: I remember when @ dru is beautiful. put up a few videos of a day in her life or something like that! I believe she showed us her bunny and she smoked out in the cold of winter, in front of her(?) house!

I also remember when Mibba just flat out wouldn't work, which was very inconvenient during large group roleplays or deep chats between the Pannibians/Jizzerz in the bands section. There wouldn't be a BRB nor a Kanye: it just wouldn't load or refresh whilst the rest of the internet went on it's merry way.

I miss the Chat section quite a bit, it was very convenient for fast conversations with a group.

Remember when Mibba had a spell check? I was just getting annoyed that my Chrome keeps spell checking stupid things and remembered that we had one here, once upon a time.

I remember that! I loved that feature of Mibba.

Does anybody remember Aelf???? That was his username. He's from forever ago. If you were active in the journals, then you might remember him. He was really into Futurama? He kinda reminded me of like a big brother of the journal section. He was so nice to everyone.

HOLY SHIT. The username, I just. I remember him. /nostalgia wave crashes over head, drowning James quickly/ Them were the days.

I remember back in the day we were able to create our own custom profiles. Back before they remodeled. There were so many people on here for the social aspect...
And I vaguely remember a couple years ago everyone flipped out because Mibba had a glitch and deleted like a week's worth of stuff on all of our pages.

That glitch is literally the reason why I stopped saving things in my drafts only. Mibba taught me to back-up my work in possibly the nastiest way possible.

In terms of custom profiles, you can still create them here and they show up as the little paint testers in the bottom right hand corner of the thing to the right of my post (what even is that called?) but the one thing I do miss about those is them being the first thing you see when you click on someone's name.

Oh same here, I always write my posts on my word processor and save it there before posting it to Mibba. Can never be too careful!
I keep forgetting that that's still a thing. I usually don't think to look at people's custom profiles, I always click on their names and it takes me to the generic page instead.

I do that, and I've also started backing things up to iCloud and Google Drive as well. I wasn't ever this careful until Mibba started glitching out.

Yeah, I've stopped as well. I don't know any people that keep theirs updated anyway. Mines is a mess, I haven't bothered fixing any of it for years now. Besides, I'm lazy. Having to click an extra button to see a custom profile is too much like hard work.

that's a good idea, I should really be doing that too.
I honestly deleted most stuff on my custom profile as soon as the website changed because I figured nobody would be looking at it anyway. The formatting got all screwed up anyway. I just fixed it now, actually. I'm sure I won't touch it for the next three years or so.... Oh well.

I only started properly backing everything up since my laptop started dying and I don't trust Mibba enough to use it as backup storage.

I just didn't bother looking at mines much. I mean, I think I changed the photo but like you, the formatting of mines ended up all messed up so I didn't bother with it. Besides, I'm too lazy to fix it.
