    Whether they're real or not is beyond me;
    But It's strange,
    Because paranormality both intrigues,
and Scares the Shit out of me.
Yeah, it scares me too, but I believe it :D. I believe in an afterlife, so it's not all that difficult for me to believe that some spirits don't make the journey to neither Heaven nor Hell. They stay here, somewhat stuck in between the two until they can move on. Making them ghosts.

    That's just my opinion.

Dum dum. Ghosts are my wrost fear.
I believe in the scientific theory of afterlife; when you die, the parts (your soul) that make you rise into the air and form with other molecues, particals, etc and together, create a new object.
I'm no good, but I do like metaphysics and I hope to study it ;)

I dislike when people say there is no proof. Are you serious? Hmm, okay. I have seen truckloads of proof. :)

^ Care to elaborate? There's not any concrete proof.

Oh yeah, obviously nothing that is like 100% proof, but there's been so many situations where things have happened and it just can't be explained. I watch alot of ghost shows, I know that may be naive, but there are things on there that just can't be explained. As well as my Aunt being able to see spirits, but she doesn't want anything to do with it. So why would she say she can see these things if she can't when she doesn't even want to be seeing them? That was confusing, haha.

I don't know. I have just seen and heard so many unexplainable things, that it's hard to not believe. There's thousands of photos, videos, audio recordings etc. Not to mention the non-believers having experiences and then it changing their mind. Especially all the equipment there is nowdays, that can make it just that little more believable, because they cross out other explanations.

^ But photos, videos and audio recodrings are easily manipulated.
And a lot of experinces could be explained by psychology.

Like, if you see something out of the corner of your eye, you normally don't think twice about it. You do a double take and when nothing is there, you believe it to have been a trick of the light. But if you're in a place known to be haunted, you believe that something you saw out of the corner of your eye was a ghost.

Or, if you've not long lost a loved one, you might "feel" their presence simply beacuse you want to so badly.

Things like that. I can't think of any more examples right now.

That is true. But what about when two or more people see/hear the exact same thing at the exact same time and say "Did you hear/see that?!", are they both mental? I wouldn't think so. I don't know, I just find it hard to believe people imagine half of this stuff. Especially when some proof is definitely not manipulated.

^ That is certainly a lot more convincing than only one person seeing/hearing something.
But then they could know each other and were just trying to creep others out. It's a possibility.
    And there's Mass Hysteria.

I do believe there's something left after death, I just also accept that it's near impossible to get any proof.

I don't believe in ghosts or anything of or pertaining to ghosts. I just think humans have over-active imaginations. Although, the one thing that gets me is that energy cannot be created or destroyed. That being said, where does the energy a human had before it dies go?

Just something to ponder late at night...

    That just made me realise:
Energy can't be created either, so where did it come from in the first place?

I definitely believe in ghosts. I'm fully convinced there's one in my house. Random stuff shows up... like one time, I was home alone and I went downstairs to get a glass of water and when I came back up there was a gas cannister from the garage in my bedroom.
And other stuff like that. I'm one of those saddos who's obsessed with all those ghost hunting series and films on TV

Some of these haunting make no sense to me. Why would an imprint/ghost/spirit still be around anyways?

Who said it was Jacko's ghost?

Could be Billie Holliday for all we know.

I watch a lot of ghost shows, but I also belong to an organization similar to the one that the ghost hunters have (TAPS). We don't go to many places outside of Indiana, but we do try to be more "scientific" about it.

I've been with this group for 3 years, so I've been to a good number of places around Indiana. I'm a skeptic, and always have been. There's been a lot of weird things that have happened, but never enough to say that something is, in fact, proof of the paranormal.

Which is disappointing because I've been to the Hannah House (Indiana's most haunted house) and the Waverly Hills Sanatorium (One of the top ten most haunted places in the world).

I belived in ghosts for a very long time because you can't create or destroy energy, so what happens when we die?
But then my teacher ruined it and told me that maggots/worms/insects eat us and then when they excrete us, the energy is still there but only as soil.
