One of my friends went to Canada and said, "All the Canadian kids are so stuck up and they all have they're $400 phones complaining about how much the need a new one because the one they have is alright 2 months old."

But, I don't know. Maybe it's just the people he saw were stuck up.
It's too quick to generalize all Canadian kids.
I mean, I bet there are quite a lot of American kids that act exactly the same or even worse.

    But dude, Canada has pancakes.
    We win hands down.

    Hmm. I'm American.
    Haven't been to Canada since I was 3;
    So I don't really know.
But I always wanted to go to see a Moose.

    :cute:

Is there really an unusual amount of Moose there?

I live in Canada and I've never seen a moose.
But then again, I don't go where mooses might be

I've also never seen a moose and I'm Canadian. It's not like they wander the roads. You usually see them in the North of Ontario, I know that. But we have a lot of deer.

And we make the best maple syrup. Hand

I love Canada, and most of the Canadians I've met have been awesome :tehe:

I'm in Canada on holiday right now, and I'm totally psyched because we saw a bear yesterday :tehe:

I usually find Canadians to be really nice, really polite, and great to talk to. :D

So yeah. Canada is osm. They have BEARS. And MOOSE. And WOLVES. And SYRUP. Dance

^^ And deer. And we say eh. And hockey. But I don't really like hockey so I'm not majorly proud of that. :XD

Oh yes, I've been coverted. :tehe:

Before I heard about the 'eh' thing, I hadn't even noticed it... but now I hear it everywhere, and I'm starting to say it myself. :XD

I'm an Ottawa Senators fan but that's only because they're the closest team to where I live. Nothing like hockey playoffs in Canada. :XD

I didn't realize how much I said "eh" until someone pointed it out to me. :shifty

I've been to Canada once. :shifty But I have Canadian friends.

I don't notice much that's "different". I mean, they have hockey, we have football. They have a heavy French influence, we have a heavy English/Spanish one. -Shrug.-

I'm biased, but I won't talk about why :hand:, but...yeah. Never noticed anything, and I'm an American-born Southern girl. :XD

I've never heard a Canadian say "eh" before. I say it a lot. :XD
And "ya'll". It freaks some Canadians out. :weird

I'm biased, because, well, I'm Canadian.
It's lots of fun to go across the border and shop for the day once in a while. Americans have lots of cool products that we don't have yet.
Then again, Canadian kids have it easy compared to Americans. We only have to learn ten provinces and three territiories.
They have to learn 50 states. :XD

They have Alex Evans. :tehe: -major fail-
Seriously though, i think Canada is awesome. It's so purrty up there.
I haven't really noticed much difference between us two, but for the most part, all of the Canadian teenagers I've met, seem a lot more intelligent than most of the teenagers I know.
But my friends are idiots, so who knows. :file:

Well Canadian's all live in igloos and say "eh" after every sentence. And have an obsession with hockey and are probably drunk and or high half the time.

And American's are all fat and stupid and usually we just sit around with our fingers up our bums and talk in an obnxious southern accent.

    True story.
    Clap

I've lived in Texas all my life, and I go back and forth between being crystal clear with no accent, and to where no one can understand me. Just depends on if I want to work at how I sound. Generally I try to speak without an accent, even though that's such a pain, just so I won't have to repeat myself constantly.

I never stereotyped Canadians, really. I watch a few Canadian Youtubers, and they don't really say 'eh', so I don't think about that.

The only thing that really sticks out to be about Canadians is the pronunciations of a few words. 'Aboot', for example.

I've only been to Canada once. We drove through Quebec, and what I noticed was that the stop signs were in French. :weird

    I was eight, okay?! :lmfao

    Uhm, stereotypes, stereostypes…

Canadians have eskimos and live in igloos… It's cold and snowy all the time… They all talk like Sarah Palin, and say 'eh' a ton…

Americans are all either trailer trash or ghetto… Superficial… Make fun of themselves, but are arrogant at the same time..?
It's hard to stereotype myself. :tehe:

But yeah. And I know the igloo thing is totally untrue, as people have pointed out here. It's just a joke, I guess. I've also heard jokes about how Canada is a wannabe America, stuff like that.
    Not very nice.

I can't honestly think what's really different in the cultures.

I'm American, and just from being in Canada for a week, I like it better.
    They aren't as materialized.

    Just from an American veiw.
And I say 'eh' a lot too, so I'll fit in nice.

I'm Canadian and I don't really have a problem with Americans.
I have a lot of friends from there, we're all from earth - what else really matters?
Some times my friends and I joke around about the so called 'rivalry' thing, but we're never really serious :XD

Such as, WE HAVE BEER, MOOSE, HOCKEY AND BEAVERS :con:
