The Vampire Diaries

There is no solid proof that a werewolf bite actually kills a vampire, though. Hell, the Sun and the Moon curse wasn't even real. My guess is there will be a cure, and Damon will stick around for another season, hopefully with a renewed interest on Elena's part.

Gone with the Wind is supposed to be screened at the town square, and Damon is a lot like Rhett, Elena a lot like Scarlett (but much less bitchy, maybe Katherine is more like her), and Stefan is a lot like Ashely... is Katherine supposed to be Melanie (only the bitch that Scarlett is supposed to be)? And for anyone who doesn't know, As I Lay Dying is about a dysfunctional family trekking miles across the countryside to bury the mother, who may or may not be dead.

That said, I think it might be the end of Katherine.

I knew Klaus would be like that with his brother. Stupid Elijah.

I freaked out when Jeremy got shot. And died. I.. honestly had no idea what to think about it. I was just shocked, my mind went blank. I was like Seriously. Buut thank god that he's alive. Even though he's seeing his ex lovers. I seriously want to know what that is all about.

AND YES.
DAMON AND ELENA FINALLY KISSED, even though it was a peck, but still.. THEY KISSED.

Oh and Stefan, becoming a ripper once again, aren't you? I kind of feel bad for him, he's being peer pressured.

I agree, stupid Elijah. But now I'm thinking its a good thing Elijah didn't kill Klaus last week or Damon wouldn't have got his cure.

I yelped so loud when Liz shot Jeremy. So glad Bonnie was able to save him.

DUDE. No lie I love Klaus. Even though he's evil I just find his evilness so incredibly attractive. Like the things I'd like to do to him are...naughty. Anywho. Loved the episode, screamed out loud when Jeremy got shot. Just totally freaked the f*ck out man. freaked outttt. Oh and I gave in and am starting a Klaus story.

I don't know how I feel about Klaus. Yeah, he does have that tall, dark, handsome, and mysterious thing going on - which is a turn on for me, but I don't know.

He did give Damon his cure - which makes me happy - even if did come at a price.

What do you all think about Jeremy seeing Vicki and Anna? I think they're that consequence that was mentioned when Bonnie was channeling the witches power. They're either ghosts or real.

Hm, I think maybe they're there to torture JEremy since the witches are all about the 'balance' or whatever. To make him wish he was dead since he should be dead?

^ I like that theory, especially considering the times Jeremy did want himself dead in the past. It would be a good way to play mind games with him.

I finally found this thread! Yay! I love Vampire Diaries. I was actually surprised because the year I started reading Twilight, i did research hoping for a movie & didn't find any. A couple months later there was talk of it being a movie. The in Summer 2009 I started reading Vampire Diaries when I was staying with my dad in Oklahoma- I guess it was going to be a TV show, but being out there I wasn't really kept up with all that- so when I got home in August & found out, I was super thrilled. Now I am like, super into TVD. My stepmom actually got the the Salvatore locket & a t-shirt for Christmas. You probably don't care, but yeah. I'm bored.

(Sorry to completely chime into this conversation but...) I think that Vicki and Anna are probably ghosts. I think perhaps Bonnie released some spirits back into the mortal world when she was channeling the witch power?

I like this theory actually. But then are we assuming that the ghosts are coming with good intentions then?

I kind of like this theory. For awhile I've just assumed that Anna and Vicki were just ghosts, that consequence of Bonnie bringing Jeremy back. But why does the consequence surround Jeremy? It's really cliche to say Vicki and Anna are appearing because Jeremy loved them both once. There has to be be a bigger reason behind it. And what about Bonnie? Bonnie was the one that channeled the witches. Why isn't she suffering the consequences?

I think the reason Bonnie isn't suffering the consequences is because the witches were smart and she'd set herself up - lemme explain. Bonnie mentioned that she loved him, and when they said there were consequences, she thought that meant there were consequences for her. Naturally, the witches couldn't have that because if Bonnie loved him, she'd be willing to take the consequences wholeheartedly, but she wouldn't purposely put Jeremy in risk of the consequences.

I read the books up until the one that came out last year (I lost my copy and never got a chance to get another one).

I must say though, I think that the tv show is better than the book series. The two have a lot of differences. A lot. But I enjoy the show more than the movie. :3

With that said, I am a hardcore Bonnie/Damon shipper, all thanks to the book series. I really like Jeremy/Bonnie too but ugh... I just want Bonnie/Damon to hook up already.

Can't wait for season three to start!!!

My bet is that Stefan is going to KILL Katherine. Such a pity, I actually liked the girl...

I love the Vampire Diaries books and show; even if does make me rip my hair that they have basically nothing(and I mean nothing; it's like the show writters just read the first three pages and went with it) in common. I like Elena and the brothers better in the show though; Elena isn't such a Mary Sue and Stefan is way cooler, plus Ian Somerholder is sexy! I do have to say however that they shoud have just made it a show and not a show based off of the book, which is why the shouldn't touch The Secret Circle with a stick.
