Oh God. Last night.
The setlist was pretty much the exact same as the Petaluma show, but they played The Interview instead of DOTP. I started crying.
It's my favorite song off DU and I didn't think I'd get to hear it live, and it was just gorgeous.
I'm really tired and sore and I've never sweated so much in my life, but last night was so worth it.
Viva Hate was pretty cool, but I wasn't into Ceremony at all. They were too wild for me, and I couldn't understand a word the singer was saying when he sang.
Also waited near their tour bus for two hours and it was
freezing. Met Adam, he was really nice. :] Really mellow, too. Davey came out right before my friend's dad came to pick us up and I kind of just froze before asking him to sign my cd. I couldn't even look at him. I don't remember what I said to him either, other than thanking him for coming back to Reno. I know I complimented him, though, because he said, "thank you, I appreciate that" and he sounded genuine. As soon as I turned the corner and left, I started crying. I've been wanting to meet him for four years and I wanted to say so much more to him, but I feel like I was being a dumbass. T_T Thank God I didn't cry in front him.
Also, Silver and Cold was actually a really good way to end the show, too. The last three songs were The Interview, Love Like Winter and then S&C. Medicate was also a good way to open it, too. And the singer in Viva Hate came out to sing with Davey during Death of Seasons. He jumped in the crowd and almost kicked me in the mouth.
All in all, it was a really amazing show. Well worth the almost four year wait.
