Request a Movie

  • Let's see... I know a lot of good old horror movies.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is pretty good, if you're okay with silent films.

Rosemary's Baby is really good, too. Watch it.

Have you seen Let The Right One In?

  • ^ I've seen the Swedish original (I'm Swedish) and I hated it because it doesn't do the book justice (plus the actors were annoying and the guy playing Oskar's nose kept running and it was disturbing) but I'll check out the other two.

    Thanks!

Any "omfg what the fuck just happened?!" movies?
In a good way or a bad way. Just movies that made a huge impact on you, and you just couldn't get it out of your head for hours upon hours after watching it. Something that just knocked you out, and you literally went "what the...?" afterwards.
    Sleuth (The 2007 remake)
    Natural Born Killers

Both of those movies stayed with me. With Sleuth, I'm not quite sure why - it's a thriller with plot twists and turns that kept me hooked. I loved the nuances in the characters, and as the film progressed even as they unraveled both kept a large amount of mystery. And the soundtrack is lovely - all in all, a great film. And as for Natural Born Killers...as a person interested in the psychology behind serial killers and also having a father in the prison system, I was hooked. It's a bit grotesque, and very in your face. It's definitely not a movie for someone fainthearted.

  • This is probably a long shot, but. I need a movie where the main character sees someone somewhere for a short time, falls in love instantly and then sets out on a journey to find the person in question. Does a movie like this even exist? My friend remembers seeing something similar, but he can't recall the title.
    Thanks in advance Cute

Serendipity is sort of like that.
They meet, and then they part because she'll only see him if destiny shows them they belong together.

I don't care if I've seen them or not, just toss a bunch of them out, whichever you can think about - any type of horror is fine.

    Jane Austen. :)
Like the story line of one of her stories... put into film... but not necessarily exactly like it, modern day versions etc.
If you get what I mean. :S lmfao
