I took dance lessons for like, 6 years.
And I loved it In Love
Tap, ballet, and jazz. Yes ma'am!
haha. But I used to perform everywhere, and I wouldn't stop dancing around the house. I thought I was so cool.

Then we moved, and lessons stopped. But I still dance around the house :tehe:
And if someone were to give me a beat, I could dance to it quite well. I love dancing :cute:

I took dance classes for a few years.
    Ballet, Tap, and Jazz.

I was not very good and I pretty much forgot all of my lesssons after I stopped, but I still love to just dance around the house. I find it relaxing.
But loving to dance and dancing well are two completely different things unfortunately.

This coming year, I will be entering my twelfth and final year of dancing... Unless by some chance I can enter a studio outside of high school. Though, I can't imagine taking dance anywhere other than where I take dance. My girls and I have all become so tight over the last several years we've been dancing together in the advanced class. I can't imagine dancing without them and already, I miss being with them. I've been taking ballet for the total eleven years that I've been in dance so far, and tap for about five or six of those year, lyrical for one year so far, and jazz for four or five years. I've had some great roles in our recitals... We did Peter Pan one year. I was Smee. People had trouble watching their kids because of me. >.< I felt bad, and honored at the same time. Haha.

I used to dance when I was younger. I got medals and stuff (:
But then there was a new dance teacher and I didn't like her, so I left.

I've been taking dance lessons since I was three. My mom was a dancer so she just kinda put me in a class and hoped I'd be like her, graceful and flexible and shit. I was not graceful so I stopped ballet after a few years. I did gymnastics, tap, jazz and pom classes up until fourth grade then I stopped for a year and since then I've been taking jazz/hip-hop classes.
I'm not very good, but I love it.

In the last several days I have started this up as a new hobby. I am bound and determined to learn Michael Jackson's dances and make him proud :tehe: Apart from his moves, I'd love to learn salsa, mamba, ballroom, tango, hip hop -- all of that stuff. I'd even give ballet a shot (just don't make me wear friggin' tights). Dancing is a beautiful form of art and I'd really like to learn.

I've been taking classes since I was 3 and still do. So That's fourteen years that I've been dancing. I do ballet, tap, jazz/modern and lyrical. I used to do pointe but it absolutely destroyed my joints so I stopped after a couple of years. I'm on Elementary level Tap and Jazz and am just taking my Grade 5 ballet next month so I'll be on pre-elementary after that.
Also since I was 14 I've been helping to teach the younger classes which I adore and am taking my Associates exam at the moment :) so with it I'd be able to open my own dance school if I wanted to.

I'm 13 and I start my 12th year next week. Ballet, clog, tap... Considering trying river dancing and more modern dancing, too.

When I was five and six I took ballet and tap lessons, then ballet and clog. :tehe:
I have little pictures of me in these frilly skirts and stuff. :tehe:

Now I just dance really silly by myself, in the living room, the shower. :shifty

    I still take ballet. :tehe:
This'll be my 6th year. I don't do it competetivly. I take it because I love the dance, my teacher, and the costumes.
I have, like, 4 tutus and massive quantaties of tights.
Last year in my class, we always made it a tradition to wear crazy tights from Halloween stores. :XD
I was contemplating having this be my last year. I'll never be skinny enough or strong enough or have enough money to do it professionally.

I took Hip Hop for three years and one year of tap/jazz, I just didn't love it as much. :coffee:

Competitions are a lot of fun. Unless your like Jordan and Aleah and Kelsi and have like 14 numbers. I would die. Or I'd overload, lose it, and get locked up.

Dude, I remember that! At the fair one year, you went on either right before or right after all of Darla's. I totally remember that.

And you forgot to mention head-banging to slow songs at school dances. Dance

I actually found my first baby ballet outfit... It's like sea foam green and couldn't pass for a belly shirt anymore. Then I found my most recent one, and it's like... pink and purple eww. Me and Ash are totally picking this year. And it will be black. We're thinking "It Ends Tonight" with us in black (darkness turns to...) Holly and Kitty in white (light).

We go right after school for ballet the 3rd. Get off at the old school (or where ir used to be) and walk about 3/4 of a mile to Darla's.

I love dancing. It's a good way to get exercise. I've never taken professional lessons, but just stuff for school and the theatre. I'd love to take classes, though.

I think I'm going to be taking dance again, I was in it for seven years and then I quit late 2007 and I took a dance camp and I adored it!

I love the warm-up, all the stretches and the ab-workouts :cheese: they're amazing.

My favourite dances we did were lyrical and jazz. I think I'm going into ballet as I would love to take lyrical when I'm old enough to and you need to have taken at least one ballet class - also because I think ballet will be fun :coffee:

My brain is to tired to work, I sound like a loser in this post :XD

Ballet is a lot of fun. It pushes me the most and I do it with my oldest friends.
