It seems cliche to say but music is my life.
I don't go a day without listening to it, it changes my moods, makes me feel things which people or tv shows cannot do.
It reaches the places deep inside of me which no one else can get to.

For me it isn't a hobby but more of a way of life.

I listen to music throughout my entire day. My usual genres are rock and punk, but I love to hear reggae and rap influences in a band. Today is Bob Marley day, yesterday was Sublime day, I just pick a band that goes with my mood.

I try to learn a new song or look up a new band every day and go to a random show every few months if I can afford it. Some of my favorite things to hear are songs sung in different languages and seeing bands from different countries. It would be impossible for me to stick to one specific type of music or genre.

I play a little piano, but honestly, I'm very musically untalented. I'm trying to learn either guitar or the drums at the moment, too.

I still have shelves full of CDs, even though I'm the only one of my friends who still goes out and buys them. They all download them - but I couldn't. I have to have something playing on my stereo in my room.
Same here. I hate to download songs for some reason. They don't make me feel like I actually own the Cd. Plus, that takes all the fun away from actually having to go and find the Cd in the Cd store.

There's so many things I find better about actual Cds than just downloading them. It's not like you can't just upload your Cd to a computer anyways.

I do that too! It's been All Time Low for awhile… I've been in a dancey mood.
I remember on a long car ride, I just listened to MCR the whole way, and I don't even like them that much. I was just in the mood. It's strange how that happens.

I buy CDs from artists that I'm really into and like. MP3s just seems so… flimsy. I like having the physical, hard copy right there. It makes everything seem more tangible.
Plus, I love the sound CD players make. Mine kind of sucks, and it's pretty noisy before the music starts. I just love listening to it. :tehe:

If I'm just checking out a band, I'll download their stuff, and delete it if I don't like it. I hate buying from iTunes, though. Especially because of the new $1.29 songs. :twitch:

I can't live without any of the classics!
I'm referring to Beethoven and Mozart.

Someone who doesn't have music in their life is missing out on 4/5s of humanity.

This is my main hobby. Listening, singing, watching, playing. Most of the time. It's just my favourite thing. :con:

I listen to it almost always. That's all I got. :file:
    Okay. I got/have more.

I basically cannot survive one moment of my life without listening to music, dancing, or having a song going through my head.

It basically is my life. I finally understand why people say that. It's hard to explain, but it's true. Without music, I would be nothing. I would be ashes and dust. I don't want to be ashes and dust. That's why I listen to music.

Music to me is like water to a fish. We need it to survive. I'm like that fish. I devour the music, I swim in the music, I live in the music. Music is my everything.

I almost never ever turn my iPod off. Except for now, because some retard listened to it yesterday and drained all the battery, and I am lacking a charger. More to the point. I've always been into music, and my taste hasn't reallly changed from when I was a kid. I guess it's because I've always been into what my friends call "Old People Music" Sure, I listen to The Beatles a lot, but that shouldn't be called "Old People Music" Because everyone should listen to them, in my opinion.

But besides that, I sing. I've been told I'm good, but I never actually believed the people that told me it. I think music just comes naturally to me, because I've learned five instruments in a short period of time. I actually, am trying to teach myself how to play the guitar, but I'm failing miserably, because the guitar I have is eleven years old and hoplessly out of tune.

Favorite Bands? The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Billy Joel, The Kinks, Panic at the Disco(that's fitting) Led Zeppelin, The Academy Is..., Imogen Heap, Blink 182, and now, The Young Veins. =]

I listen to music everyday. If I don't, I always feel that I'm missing something; that I should do something.

My music taste also depends on my mood. But I can listen to MCR any day because they have a special place deep down. Anyway, there are times that I listen to Pop, especially Lady Gaga and Katy Perry's tracks, just because I don't feel uncomfortable and moody. I listen to JRock if an anime keeps on appearing inside my head.

    :tehe:

My favorite artists are: MCR, Marilyn Manson, Lady GaGa, The Used, Paramore, Katy Perry, 2NE1, Simple Plan, etc.

I do have a weird taste in music.

Oh gosh, I love music. :cheese:
If I went deaf, it would destroy me never being able to hear it ever again. I love all different genres, I love hearing such a different variety of peoples voices, it's all just lovely. I half play keyboard from time to time, but I barely know anything just tunes I make up myself. :cute: It's really cool how you can make up so many different tunes just from playing different keys.

My favourite band is Deathstars, but I'm not blinkered. I'll listen to anything and everything, or whatever strikes my mood at the time. (:

Someday I'm going to go deaf because my earbuds are in my ears most of the day. :tehe:
I mostly listen to alternative music (my favorite band is the Smashing Pumpkins), but I've got rap and pop on my iPod as well. I'll give most music a chance.

I listen to music all the time. :D
And if my headphones are off my head, a song plays in my mind and I start humming as I work or do something. And if there's somewhat of an awkward silence, I break into a song - that makes everyone laugh. :tehe:

Talking about music; my brother's playing this hip hop music with way too much bass at the moment! I can feel the vibrations in the floor. D:<
I'm actually trying to listen to The Used here, argh!

    like right now, aha.
& this is pretty random, but elevator music is very catchy.
everyone else seems to hate it.
& the music that restaurants play is very soothing.
    but that's just me :/

I seriously listen to it 24/7, it's constantly playing in the background, doesn't matter if I'm sleeping or doing anything else.

I'm mostly into metal, but I listen to many kinds of music.

And I play the piano and sing, and I've always loved creating my own songs, it's just such a great way to express yourself. :] And feel understood.

It feels like it's the only thing I've got left to believe in.
