Editors' concert at the O2 Academy in Newcastle.

They were brilliant. Tom Smith captivated the audience and his voice was perfect. He involved the audience and their performance was absolutely fantastic.

The Killers at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.

Brandon Flowers was pitch perfect. He involved the audience spectacularly and in the middle of Joy Ride did an absolutely beautiful improv about falling in love and waking up in the morning and wondering about how great life is. It was Happy face-worthy. In Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine, the bassist did his bassline without any accompniment and under a spotlight and he never missed a note.

    In Love.

The word 'perfection' springs to mind when I think about it. Just everything about this gig was just amazing. They sounded flawless, and everyone was into it. I think because I've waited so long to see them as well, it made it even more epic. They didn't play my favourite by them, but they did play Move Along & Mona Lisa, which are two songs I absolutely adore, so it made up for it.

I saw Thousand Foot Krutch at Soulfest and it was pretty much the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It was outside and it was absolutely pouring and Trevor, the lead singer, had surgery on his vocal cords only a week before and almost had to cancel the concert. But, they did not, and they were just amazing. In Love The rain made it complete.

I saw fourteen bands there in two days, and I have to say without a doubt that they were my favorite, along with Fireflight, Remedy Drive and Sanctus Real.

I used to say R.E.M., Rock Werchter 2005 for the past four years when anybody asked me that question.
But then, a few weeks back, I got to see Green Day and Muse. And now my top three is:

    1. Muse, 2nd November 2009 - http://loor-bedroomdancing.blogspot.com/2009/11/together-were-invincible.html

    2. Green Day, 17th October 2009 - http://loor-bedroomdancing.blogspot.com/2009/10/welcome-to-paradise.html

    3. R.E.M., 4th July 2005 - Chanting Losing My Religion together with a crowd of 70 000 people = beautiful, breathtaking.

I'd have to change my mind, actually. Physically, the Motley Crue show was amazing. It's hard to explain what I mean by 'physically.' Not sexually...I got pretty bruised and battered at the Motley show. And I got into a fight at the porta-potty with a man that was probably twice my age and 3 times my size. It was amazingly epic. But...
Music talent wise, I'd have to say Avenged Sevenfold. It just blew my mind, and I think that, in a way, your first really amazing concert is what you're always going to compare everything else to. And for me, Avenged Sevenfold was simply amazing

I saw the Used and Atreyu on February 25th of this year in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Fillmore. It was sooooo great. It was Bert's birthday, so we sang to him, and I met Quinn before the show...

I would have to say the Glamour Kills Tour, November 27th '09.
All Time Low, We The Kings, Hey Monday, The Friday Night Boys. My friend threw her bra onstage and I got some awesome pictures/quotes out of it.

That or the show I got to see at a local small venue, February 12th '10.
The Audition, The Dangerous Summer, Sparks the Rescue, The Right Coast, and Lualdi (my favorite local band EVER).

But it's very subject to change, especially if I get to see Green Day or My Chemical Romance live.

Deathstars, Into Darkness Tour, October 25th 2009. Not much attention paid to the other bands tehe, but this was so perfect. Because, Cary was there, and because Deathstars make brilliant live shows, because it was full of sweat and laughter and fangirlism and kisses and love and just so, so intense. Fangirly "Look, Nighty!" making Nighty smile. Meeting Nighty. Ewe. The support-band guy staring. Whip. In Love Skinny's "I'm stupid" and Cary's "At least you're pretty!".

LostAlone, Vienna, December 11th 2008. Because of the Christmas markets with Ivan and the two Czech girls before the show. Because of girly fixing up while waiting for Mary. Buying chocolate for Steven! Because we were the first people in the venue. tehe And the concert, 3 Storeys High guys making fun of Chas, LostAlone obviously enjoying everything. Steven talking to me and then this photographer girl going all "I'm from Slovakia too!". The hugs. Honey & Burlesque. Gaah. I miss them.

Those are probably my top concerts, although there is a bunch of moments from other shows that would get to the list as well.

I went to that show too!
god, it must look like I'm a stalker

    - -

my personal favourite was Green Day in Houston (August 8th) but in my head those 3 shows kind of morphed into one amazing concert.

the one I just came back from though was certainly the most interesting. I saw Bird by Bird in Houston. They only came there at my suggestion and only 5 people (including myself and my 2 friends) were there so it was like a private show just for me with one of my favourite bands. In Love
