I believe Karma is a bitch, which is why I believe in "Treat others the way you want to be treated."

I believe that you should be content with what you have and have patience for what you don't. It'll come sooner or later

For friends: A true friend stabs you in the front
For enemies: Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them further
For life: Youth is the only thing worth having.

    My ideas:
If you want to do something, do it. Don't do it because someone tells you, but because you WANT to. Fear no one, for only you can judge your actions. And always remember: life is not too short, you're dead for far too long.

I think everyone needs to calm down, and we need to help each other out every once in a while. So far, the only thing that's been proven is that we have each other. So, we might as well make the best of it.
"We're all we've got on this bouncing ball."

You're so right dude... it doesn't matter what you believe if you only believe that.

Yes, but in the same respect, we do have to look out for ourselves once in a while. If we spend all of our time helping out our fellow man, how can we aspire to be in any way self-reliant?

My belief is simply this: People will backstab you at their first oppurtunity so stab them first. :D but a little less macabre.

I belive people need to stop complaining about stereotypes because we are all walking stereotypes. Every adjective is a stereotype. Be your own person, but don't flip out when someone calls you 'goth' or 'prep'. You're wasting your breath complaining about things that won't change anytime soon.

It's human nature to judge, but we need to learn to accept what we judge, because we can't change a lot of things.

I believe that in a life as short as ours, one should take everything they can and that one should experience as much pleasure as possible, for we all die and after that, there is nothing- simply death.

    'It's all in your head'.
I don't know, I kind of live my life by that. It's wrong, and usually things tend to affect me less because I always keep going back to it and I just can't shake it off.
It started years ago, I was really into human brain and psychology and I read so many books about it and with everything I learned I just concluded that everything is, indeed, in our heads. Not in the way that I think things are not really happening, that I'm imaging it, but in the way that I think our behavior and thoughts and everything we are, it's all in our heads.

I'd like to add to mine:

I believe Coldplay's music is the best thing to calm anyone down. Seriously.
    I absolutely agree Clap

I also believe that we all are alike. Not race, nor religion, nor sexuality can change the fact that we all need love and something to believe in, whether it be God or the belief that the leaves will change colour next season.

I believe that everyone should love everyone regardless of things they've done in the past. To discriminate because of race, sexuality, or religion is not only vain and shallow but pointless as well. We have limited time on earth and to spend our time hating the world and all who inhabit it isn't going to get you very far. Love and let love in. That's my philosophy. (:

My philosophy is incredibly simple but I do believe that if everyone lived this way then the world would be a better place.

    - Be nice. It’s nice to be nice.
    - Don’t knowingly make life any harder for anyone else. Simple.
    - To each their own, but never let your beliefs affect anyone else’s life.

My philosophy is made up mostly from ideas from Buddhism, humanism and existentialism.

    Basically;
    • Everyone should be free to believe with whatever agrees with their own reasoning. They should not be required to believe in things that don't make sense to them, that they don't agree with, or that don't have any particular meaning to them.
    • If there is a meaning of life; it's what you make of it. One's reason to exist, if such a thing exists in itself, should be decided and carried out by the individual, and they should go through their lives based on it.
    • If there isn't a meaning of life; who cares? I believe that a life without meaning does not equal a life without purpose. Id est, just because we're here by coincidence, or our arrival into existence is meaningless, does not mean that we shouldn't take advantage of what life we somehow have been given. Why not live it to the full instead of worrying about why we're here?
    • Adding on to the above point; everyone deserves to live. Everyone. People may do horrible things, and they should indeed be punished for those things. However, no one deserves to have their life taken away from them. At all. Ever.
