I don't like them, but that's because I'm not a fan of leggings-as-trousers in general. I'm sick of seeing girls wearing shirts that don't cover their arses just because they're wearing leggings (or 'jeggings') and they think it looks fine.
Ever heard of VPL? It is not fine. Plus, I see about 5 pairs of underwear a day at college because of it. It really annoys me.

    They don't look very... trendy.
I'd rather just slip on a pair of skinny jeans.

    I have a pair. :D

I reckon people only look good with jeggings or leggings if they don't have fat legs.

Jeggings are good though, because it's more freedom allowing around the waist-al area than skinny jeans. My jeans are suffocating - some of them - around the waist, so to have on something looser is nice.

I find them quite bizarre. I remember picking them up because I needed new jeans, and then I realised they weren't jeans and got a little wierded out. I don't have a problem with them, my sister wears them and they look nice on her. But they're not for me.
I thought jeans couldn't get any skinnier, till these. tehe

Exactly. I don't find them fashionable or trendy at all. I think they are just bizarre.

I like them. I wear leggings all the time, but only with a long enough top. I think they're a really good idea, especially because things like fibromyalgia and other conditions can make skinny jeans/any jeans very uncomfortable.

Yeah, exactly. Or just having a great big wound slap bang in the middle of your thigh. Either way, denim can be a very painful material.

Me and my friend were discussing these a few months ago.
He kept insisting they weren't called jeggings, because "that sounds like some fucked up sex act" tehe

I don't like them, tbh. Like most other people on here seem to think, why not just wear skinny jeans?

I totally hate how they are called "jeggings". It puts dirty pictures in my head. lmfao

Personally I'd wear them because I find wearing jeans uncomfortable, but I wouldn't want anyone to see my bum.

I hate doing that with normal leggings anyway.

    So unflattering. D:

I don't really like them. Especially the ones that are supposed to look acid washed.
Unless you have legs that look like they belong on a mannequin, just... don't.

I have super skinny boney legs so they really don't look good.

    I think they're hideous.

Why not just buy one pair of skinny jeans and one pair of leggings?

Okay, so we're a bit further in time and I've come to find out WHY jeggings are.. invented. XD
Compared to regular jeans; jeggings are way easier to tuck into your boots. This obviously also goes for leggings, but since they're mostly only in solid colors and all, it doesn't always come out how you want it to look. Because in all honesty; a bit of denim does a lot for most outfits. So basically jeggings are awesome, as long as you treat them like leggings and wear something which covers that bum!

....i actually find them quite awesome :D

They're really comfortable and don't bunch up, unlike my skinnies. I'm seeing alot of people on this thread asking why? Why not just wear leggings?

Welll I have discovered the reason!
You see, at some schools *cough*mine*cough**cough* You aren't aloud to wear leggings, even with a top the covers your butt. (Unless it goes two inches above your knees, but at that point, whats the point of even wearing leggings?) Solution?ZE JEGGINGS!!

I own a pair and get lots of compliments for my legs every time I do :)
They're practical for (longer!) tops that are quite tight because then you can't see the buttons and stuff of the jeans through the top- if you know what I mean.

Eh... I can't say I really like them... But I don't mind them. I think they'd be nice for someone who has nice legs and could find clothes that go with them... But other wise, meh, not too interesting.

I have a pair. I love them. Only problem with me wearing leggings/jeggings is I have abnormally skinny ankles. Like i've always had really small ones, so my jeggings are always baggy around there, and it looks a bit stupid.

I usually wear them with long tops or camis, so you can't see a VPL. But even then, I wear my seamless knickers [don't own a thong], I'd be too self conscious to go out wearing normal underwear which you could make out.

And yes, the make my legs look good which is an added bonus.

I've seen a lot of girls wear them. I don't think they look good. They're not my style. I'd rather put on regular leggings or jeans.

    They just look so fake.
