Yeah, I think you're right. Stores like American Eagle and JC Penny (that's where I see them most) and such sell "jeggings" that're basically just stretchy skinny jeans, but I guess somewhere there's leggings patterned to look like jeans--which seems so tacky to me. Especially since they look like pants on the rack, but on a person there's so much camel toe and all your flaws are showing.

- I feel as if there are two 'kinds' of jeggings. Some with more jeans than legging, others vice-versa.
My favourite pair of pants are jeggings, but they could just be considered stretchy jeans, really. They look exactly like skinny jeans would (and they offer pretty much the same support jeans would), but are amazingly comfy.
Other types of jeggings I've seen are just leggings with a jeans pattern on it. I don't care much for those.
But jeans don't fit some people right, no matter how many brands they try. Like me for instance. I have small thighs, but wide hips. So therefore someone like me would turn to jeggings for the right fit. Though I haven't tried them yet.

- I think if you want to look like you're wearing jeans, wear jeans. Don't wear something that appears to be jeans.
Other than that, I don't like them because they don't have pockets, and I carry a lot of stuff with me.
Jeans aren't as skinny/tight as jeggings, so it's the obvious choice to get jeggings if you want something tight fitting that accentuates your arse/legs.

- The stupid thing about them is that they look like capris. They stop where capris would. So what the hell is the point? I got a lot of leggings for christmas that look like jean fabric, but they aren't all decked out in that ridiculous stuff, like pockets. Just get leggings or jeans. Not something in between.
It's as dumb as an ipad. Get an ipod touch or a laptop.
