I think if you want to look like you're wearing jeans, wear jeans. Don't wear something that appears to be jeans.
Other than that, I don't like them because they don't have pockets, and I carry a lot of stuff with me.

I feel as if there are two 'kinds' of jeggings. Some with more jeans than legging, others vice-versa.
My favourite pair of pants are jeggings, but they could just be considered stretchy jeans, really. They look exactly like skinny jeans would (and they offer pretty much the same support jeans would), but are amazingly comfy.
Other types of jeggings I've seen are just leggings with a jeans pattern on it. I don't care much for those.

Yeah, I think you're right. Stores like American Eagle and JC Penny (that's where I see them most) and such sell "jeggings" that're basically just stretchy skinny jeans, but I guess somewhere there's leggings patterned to look like jeans--which seems so tacky to me. Especially since they look like pants on the rack, but on a person there's so much camel toe and all your flaws are showing.
My favorite pair of jeans are jeggings, but they're the stretchy-jeans kind. Weird

But jeans don't fit some people right, no matter how many brands they try. Like me for instance. I have small thighs, but wide hips. So therefore someone like me would turn to jeggings for the right fit. Though I haven't tried them yet.

I hate them. With a passion. I mean why not wear actual jeans? I wear skinny jeans all the time and skinnies look better than just wearing leggings/jeggings.

I especially hate it when they wear cardigans that come to the bottom of their butt and then jeggings/leggings from there. It looks really unattractive, and even a few of my guy mates have said they look hideous and would never date a girl who wore them.

And they give people fat thighs. Shifty

I've never worn them, and I'm not gonna start.

Although I do have to admit that some girls do look alright in them. Just a select handful.

I bought a pair of "jeggings" a few days ago. They are cute, I'll admit and fit in a...I guess, more of a "slimmer" way than normal skinny jeans do. Personally, I like them. But I'd never buy more than one pair.

I used to hate them. The concept just sounded stupid and when they first came out, a lot of them were pretty ugly and unflattering. But then they got a bit better, so when I finally got a pair I fell in love. They're basically really stretchy skinny jeans with no pockets or zippers. What's not to love? They also fit better than skinny jeans. Even my size 0 skinnies end up really baggy around the thigh/hip/butt area, whereas my jeggings always stay super slim-fit. Love it. <3

I have 1 pair, and personally I think they are a lot more comfortable than jeans. And I like them, but I'd take my skinny jeans over them any day. I also think that unless you have small legs (like chicken legs as people call mine) you shouldn't wear them, because you're probably going to look bad in them.

I have a pair of jeggings, and I must say I like them. They're a much thicker material than leggings, so there's no risk of pant-lines or cameltoes, but they're stretchy so they're much more comfortable than jeans.
Because I'm small and skinny, I find jeans, even skinny jeans are quite loose-fitting, so I like that the jeggings are skin-tight. Smile

Skinny jeans are the way to go in my opinion. I don't like having my pants tight all over and clingy like leggings I like them to be a little loose in all the right places, that's why I love jeans!

The stupid thing about them is that they look like capris. They stop where capris would. So what the hell is the point? I got a lot of leggings for christmas that look like jean fabric, but they aren't all decked out in that ridiculous stuff, like pockets. Just get leggings or jeans. Not something in between.

It's as dumb as an ipad. Get an ipod touch or a laptop.

Jeans aren't as skinny/tight as jeggings, so it's the obvious choice to get jeggings if you want something tight fitting that accentuates your arse/legs.
Leggings can come in really boring/ugly prints as well. Maybe I don't want just plain coloured leggings?

I honestly don't like the idea of girls wearing shirt and leggings anyway. It shows too much for me. It's like, ass and tights. And sometimes you can see right through them, and it just looks trashy to me. Like, a hooker walking down the street with no other article of clothing . It's like putting your ass on the market. Seeing the product before it's bought.(at least that's how it is for the girls that go to my school) I could think of 1000 analogies for it.

I saw this one girl who was wearing them and it looked like she wasn't wearing any underwear. And you can sometimes see girls cellulite and shit and it looks really nasty. And when really skinny girls wear it, it makes them look bone thin, which is even worse.

I wish this fashion statement, sense, whatever you want to call it, would die.

^ Leggings and jeggings aren't the same, though. That's kind of the point of jeggings. They look like jeans, not leggings, other than the fact that they're skintight, and they're never see-through because they're made either with a denim blend or an opaque fabric. When I wear jeggings, people just think they're normal jeans.

Really no different than tight skinny jeans, except a bit more flexible, comfortable, and usually a better fit.
