Oh, well I guess it doesn't work in stories. You might have to try inserting an image/page divider.

It may not work in stories, not all bbcodes do.

Alright, thanks everyone. Also, I've been having problems putting banners on my stories via pictures. I copy the URL into the image box and everything, but nothing shows up. Apparently I'm supposed to type in an "image input", but I don't know what that is. Can I please have help with this problem?

Are you talking about in a story layout or in the summary/chapters of the story itself? (Layout help can be found here, if that's what it is.)

I'm having trouble figuring out how to use the indent code. It works, but I don't know where to put it to make the beginning of my signature indented.

How are you trying to indent it? I think the alignment of it right now means that an indent could only be placed at the end of the line (not sure if that works). Could you post the code here for us to see?

I know how to use it, but I'm confused about where to put it. When I put it in the front of what I write it doesn't indent.

How do you get sentences beneath each other to become really close instead of miles apart?

I'm not sure what you mean. You can't adjust line height with BBcode, although if you have your font size set smaller you'll have a smaller line height.

Umm, what about stories, can I use the BBcodes for that?

Just the main ones like bold, italics and underline. If you wanted a different font, for example, you'd have to change that on the layout maker.
