I might not be in the right spot bbuutt I'm just trying to get a video back on my profile.. :( Had a YT video up, and it disappeared. I think I used the BBCode to put it on my profile before, has that code changed or something? :/ I tried it again and it's just showing the code with the link. So I tried the embed code and that doesn't work either. :(

You mean you're trying to put it on the custom profile, right? Not the generic one?

Right, I got a layout code from somewhere forever ago and made a bunch of tweaks. Thought I could at least get the video back on there but I guess not xD

Well you were asking if the code changed, it hasn't. It's still [youtube][/youtube].

Are you sure your video has the ?v= in the URL?

I know sometimes others were having trouble where Youtube videos would appear, but then after a bit they would change strictly to the code and not show the video at all. Sometimes they would change back, or sometimes they wouldn't. I'm not sure if users were having problems with the code on custom profiles or not.

If it doesn't work anytime soon, you could always just create a link on your profile to the video :)

Ah, ok. Yes, it has that in the URL... I wonder why it changes? :/ Bummer. Thanks for helping me out - I guess I'll leave the code there for now. xD

I'm not sure. I assume it's just a glitch. Have you tried taking it off your profile and putting it back on?

BBcode doesn't work with profiles anymore (any part of them), and the embed codes youtube gives you won't work either because embedding's disabled for custom profiles, so unfortunately there isn't a way to add youtube videos to your profile anymore. :/

Yeah, I wanted to get it working on my own before having to ask xD but I wasn't sure if I was missing something or not, having come back to a whole new Mibba! :P

Honestly I guess the only way is to really use a link instead of the Youtube code. Sorry :(

No, ladyschrei's right; the only thing you can do is link to the video and ask/hope people play it while looking at your profile.

It's the link you're using. Delete everything after ".jpg" and it should work fine, like this:
