I would have to say Robin Hood hands down if it's character from a book. He has this set of principles and has transcended over the longest period of time. I remembered having a discussion on him in a theology class because religious people believe that things are black and white, right or wrong, and Robin Hood has the ends justify the means that I believe in more realistic. He also had the most loyal followers and was so charismatic, selfless, and courageous with a bit of cockiness to him.

Lacey Pemberton from Paper Towns. I thought the book was okay, nothing tremendously special, but I fell in love with her character pretty quickly. I thought she was sweet, sincere, a little bitchy, yes, but a proper fleshed out character. I also loved the tiny mentions of her bad relationship with food. I don't know, I just loved her.

Definitely Atticus Finch from To Kill A Mockingbird. He's just an epitome of a great man and a great father.

I would probably say Todd Anderson in Dead Poet's Society as well. He comes off as a meek character at the beginning of the story, but there's more to that as we later know of.

    Right now I have one:

Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I think I like him because I can relate so much. He's been through a lot and I've been through a lot and seeing his struggles and strengths help me have hope because he's overcame them and I know I can, too.

    @ the kingslayer.
I find myself swinging back and forth between hating Jaime and thinking he's the smartest, biggest bad ass in the series. Martin's magical writing i guess. :)

I have always lovd the character of Buck from The Call of The Wild. Though he may be just a dog, his thoughts and feelings felt so strong and human.

Augustus Waters from The Fault In Our Stars. In addition to being so strikingly identical with a guy I used to date, he exudes this eerily comic attitude in spite of the tragic circumstance that he and Hazel Grace are placed with. I enjoy his short, witty comments and allusions to underrated and brilliant pieces of pop culture. I am in love with him; never been so in love with a fictional character since the pre-pubescent dawn of Edward Cullen of Twilight.
