Movies That Were Better Than You Expected

I thought Yes Man was gonna be one of those awful films that are so bad they make you laugh, but I actually really loved it.

August Rush. It is an angst filled film but it is really good.

Also, Contact. I thought it was gonna be super lame but it was actually very good.

"Paranormal Activity". I had low expectations after some things I heard from friends, but I thought it was creepy to think of it truly happening to someone.

And I'll admit, the remake of "A Nightmare On Elm Street" is a favorite of mine now. I don't get why people hate on it SO much. Sure, I feel the chick that played Nancy 'effing sucked, but I liked the film in general.

Interview with the Vampire.
Before I had seen it, I hated Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt for no reason at all haha. I was like: no way I'm going to watch that movie.
I watched it, and I loved it. The movie, and Brad & Tom XD

Stomp the Yard: Homecoming.
I usually have an issue when dance movies (like Bring it On and Step Up) come out with sequels, but this one was actually really good.

The Social Network

It wasn't my choice to see it - it was a friend's - so I'm glad it actually turned out to be a lot better than I expected it was going to be.

Inception. Yeah, I expected much from it, everyone kept saying how good it is but it still managed to surprise me.

I watched Wristcutters: A Love Story the other night an it was brilliant. I had it recommended to me on some website before but I was put off by the title. I thought it would be about some sort of suicide pact or something really depressing but I was so wrong! I think the idea is great and I would definitely watch it again.

Inception.
I hate that type of dream within a dream concept. But it wasn't at all as bad as I thought.

Salt
I'm not really a fan of Jolie, but I was pleasantly surprised by her performance.

Clash of the Titans.
I'm not sure why, but I just expected it to be terrible and it wasn't.

Tangled was a surprise. I hate movies that just do knock offs of other fairy tales and such considering it was based on Rapunzel, but it was surprisingly funny and you just got to love how much cooler the horse is to everyone else.

This movies called Let Me In. I thought it was going to be a piece of shit, but it was actually kind of cute and disturbing at the same time (it's a vampire movie, but not like Stephenie Myers vampires [or fairies, as others my say]).

I don't even think it came out yet.

Buried.

Snakes on a Plane.
I thought it was actually a good movie.

Amityville Horror.

Uh, Remember Me. It had Robert Pattinson in it, and with that alone, it pretty much threw me off. But the first time I watched it, I bawled during two scenes. I always cry when I see it.
