(tehe Sorry. And, it does. /: )

They never even got that big America. I suppose that the area's around Chicago, New York, and LA prolly over-played them, but here in Ohio they hardly ever got anything. Facepalm

And again, P!ATD hardly ever got any air-time. IWSNT's music video was big for about a week or so though. And MCR is actually played fairly often over here. :;tehe:

(But who cares anyway, right? Laughing We can have our own mini party here Dance)

What? Like seriously?? They never got it big in their own country? OMG NO! The problem with Singapore is that our entertainment industry suck big time. We can never survive if we were to make it as musicians here. So that's why we hail Hail overseas artists. It's also tough for us to meet the guys as they'll only come down once in a blue moon. I'm not saying for FOB only, it's for all US/UK artists. Sometimes, I do wish to be living somewhere else where it's just not Singapore.

MCR's Black Parade received more air-play than Revenge as the guys came down to Singapore in 2007. Danger Days also had a bit of air-time. I'd guess Revenge wasn't really suitable for the radio, lol!

Surprisingly, Patrick Stump's This City got played over the air-waves! I was flailing when I first heard it on the radio, that my friends thought I had gone mental.

(sorry, I've been on and offline lately. Facepalm )

They've had a fairly large "Underground" following here, like they could play a bigger venue if they wanted, but they're nowhere near even radio popular. Sad

And dont worry dearie, not all of our artists are that amazing. It seems that anymore it's about money rather than fun. Sad

MCR has had a few radio hits over here, but that's all they're known for. Sort of like a one-hit-wonder. Sing has had airtime, as has Welcome to the Black Parade and Famous Last Words, but that's about it. Sad

I can't say I've ever heard Patrick on the radio over here. Except for that once in a blue moon thing with FOB.

    Looooolll!

By the way you're saying things, it seems that the guys have a better following outside of the States, hee... But then, I'd rather have the musician to have a small group of supporters rather than a large crowd. Because sometimes, celebrities gets it to their head if they become too popular.

As for Patrick's song being played over the air-waves, it was partly due to the fact that he was the singer from Fall Out Boy. If Patrick started out as a solo artist, I don't think his songs will even be played here. William Beckett was in Singapore on June 15th and he played at such a tiny venue, I didn't know of until one of my fellow chasers posted it on her facebook wall. I didn't managed to catch it as I had some family restraints (my hubs and child -.- ). I was bummed for the whole week coz my friend got to meet him upclose. Cry

I'm not too sure whether you read FOB fics, but I'm into writing FOB-centric fics. So if you are free, do take a peek at my stories/profile. If you're keen, that is Wink

They really do and I sorta think it's unfair. Facepalm Their a legend around the Chicago ares but other than that they're hardly known.

Yeah, see, that's why he prolly doesnt get played here. Facepalm Not that it seems that America has a grudge against anyone who's from an Underground band, but rather that America only seems to pay attention to BIG time artists. And in America there's only, what, 5 or 6 of them?? Facepalm

tehe If I can find some time I will; I used to be into writing it big time, but I havent written ANYTHING in about 2 years. Sad

They also have never came to Cleveland (my local city for concerts) by themselves. Ever. They were always either a fest or a part of a line up. They had 4 "Opening" acts here: Cobra Starship, ATL, Hey Monday, and Metro Station.

I didnt take this video, my camera at the time was total shit. But I dont think I was far from this guy since he has about the same view I had. tehe

Gaaaaahhhhh! OMGYES Least you managed to catch them in concert! I didn't even meet them at all. Nada. Nil. Zilch. I did told ya before that I wasn't into them back then. They came to Singapore twice (2007 and 2009) for a full concert and I was too oblivious and blind as not to like them. I really feel like banging my head against the wall now... Cheese But then, who would have thought that they'll be on hiatus? We all thought that the guys were doing so well, we didn't see the inevitable coming.

Apparently, now it's the "British invasion" what with One Direction and The Wanted playing on Singapore airwaves currently. We do have an "indie" radio station where they'll play indie musicians, such as Ed Sheeran and Ingrid Michaelson. It could be just me, but it seems British fashion is dominating in Singapore as well. Not that I'm complaining, but my country is effing hot all the time and layers of clothes does NOT help at all...

I started on Mibba recently, last March to be precise. One of my friends persuaded me to join Mibba since I'm into reading FOB fics. In the end, I succumbed and I ended up writing stories myself. I have too many plots and ides in my head, I have to jot them down somewhere. In the end, I came up with a couple of stories, one of them being One Direction-centric, haha! Yes, it's a major difference from Fall Out Boy. Nonetheless, I love both of them all the same In Love

I only saw them once, but they came to Cleveland every tour; Cleveland's a mecca for smaller-time bands. tehe

And I have come to the realization that Infinity on High is the best album.

I can't really say which album's my favourite (or the best), since I haven't listen to the whole of Take This To Your Grave and Folie A Deux. Nonetheless, I really love FUTCT and IOH very much. Too many songs can be deemed as my favourites. I can practically hear Patrick's voice transitioning; it was simply beautiful. Sighs.

I really like the new song. It reminds me of 'wams' and 'West Coast Smoker'.

I'm praying to everything possible that I can see them June 23rd in Denver.
If I don't get to (which I probably won't) I'm going to hole up in my room for the rest of my life because
    FALL OUT BOY, ohmygod.
My heart exploded when they officially announced that the hiatus was over. ^_^

    @ overboard.
I'm planning on going to that show too!

My boyfriend actually said I could probably go to KC and Denver (I wouldn't go to Denver alone). And we would go to the KC show together and I would go to the Denver one without him.

I asked my mom if I could go see them when they perform at the Wiltern in LA. She said that she would look into it (aren't the tickets super cheap? Like $35/$40 dollars?) since they go on sale on Friday. Unluckily for me, the Wiltern doesn't have its own website and Ticketmaster isn't giving me anything to work with so I can only guess how much the tickets would cost.

Though I am a bit confused... The tickets that go on sale on Friday are for the Save Rock and Roll Tour, right? And most of the shows are smaller venues?

That being said... I am honestly so excited for this album! I've been a FOB fan since Infinity and their comeback? Best news that I've ever had. The new single literally blows my mind (although the "I'm on fire!" part does annoy me a bit).

    @ soft skeletons.
Ticketmaster told me mine would be $44 after a $9.50 fee. That was for Kansas City, MO. I'm sure they're similar, but the fees might differ.

And it says they go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for my sale. I don't work that morning, so I think I'm going to go ahead and get my KC one, then I'll get an OCK membership on my next paycheck so hopefully I get M&G!

And since the Denver show is on a Sunday, totally might be going to that one since my boyfriend would only have to miss one day of work. ^_^

While everyone else is talking about getting tickets to the next Fall Out Boy gig, all I can do is to wait here impatiently patiently for the guys to do a world tour.

I guess my ticket doesn't go on sale until Saturday. But I don't work that day either. Just need to remember to take the laptop to my apartment so I can buy it while my boyfriend is still sleeping.
