^ totally late, but no. i never had any faith in that marriage whatsoeverFile

okay, i seriously want my fall out boy back. it can't even be explained. i saw patrick stump in october, and he's doing so well for himself. andy hurley was there to visit him, i dunno, i just think it's a sad. a good kind of sad though. i need them back though. patrick's vocals and pete's lyrics make everything okay, and the black cards, the damned things, and patrick stump all separate aren't quite doing anything for me Sad

Okay, I'm trying to revive this thread back to life.

I know Fall Out Boy "lost" their fans due to the hiatus. And their solo, side projects made them lose even more followers, but there are still people out there who haven't stopped believing in these guys.

So why don't we all give these guys much love they once had a few years back? Eventhough they're all no longer together?

I've been listening to FOB again recently, a bit. But, yeah, I definitely did lose some interest with the hiatus. I was not as impressed with their solo projects as I hoped to be.

I'm not really into their solo projects either. I gave Black Cards a listen to, but after Bebe dropped out, I completely stopped listening to them. I'm alright with Patrick's solo, though I have to listen to his songs over and over again to really like it. It's not like I immediately fell in love after the first hearing... Unsure

They were the one of the first bands I ever discovered and loved without being introduced to: they hold a spot in my heart. tehe

And the solos are just not my thing. Shifty Especially Pat's.....even if there's no denying he has the voice of an angel. Was it called tha Black Cards that Pete managed? I can never remember the name, but the few songs I actually listened to out of them were'nt too bad. Not my thing, but not bad.

Honestly speaking, I only liked one or two of Patrick's songs. I did get Soul Punk, but I haven't gotten to listening to the whole album. Yet. Shifty

When I first heard about Black Cards, I dislike their music. But it grows on you after a while. Wink I really like Dominos. But then Bebe left the group and Pete made Black Cards as a remix "band" and I lost interest in it completely.

When I first heard of FOB, it was in 2006 (I was 22) & I actually got sick of hearing 'Sugar' on the airwaves. It was repeating every hour or so -.- I was more of an MCR fan back then. Unfortunately, I didn't love these boys back then, and when I finally like them, they're no longer around Sad

(Sorry, I went on a vacation. XD )

I was about 10 when I had first heard them. tehe I got into P!ATD and kept hearing about the "Pete guy" that signed them. XD

And, wow, Sugar was played on the radio where you are?? They never got ANY airtime where I am, hardly ever have. I can count on my hands the number of times I've heard them on the radio. Facepalm

(No wonder this thread went dead again Laughing It seems like we're the only two people here...)

Back in 2006, Fall Out Boy was massive, hence the continous airplay of 'Sugar'. Then it was followed by 'Dance Dance'. I remembered the very first time I watched that music vid, it was shown to me by my then-boyfriend (who's now my husband, tee-hee). I was like "What the heck is this? But it's frigging catchy! And how did the lead singer look so different? I like this song!" Ahhh... Those were the days.

I found P!ATD's first single 'I Write Sins, Not Tragedies' irritating as well back then. I BLAME it on the airwaves. The thing about Singapore radio is that, they'll play that particular hit over and over again until your ears bleed Twitch MCR's songs weren't heard that regularly since it's not exactly radio-friendly. Maybe that's why I like My Chem to death back then.
