But man, on the guitar parts, were his skinny jeans skinny or what?
    Very skinny, indeed.
I think we wear the same size pants now. Haha.

Ditto. I mean, I love Patrici and there is no doubt he is very talented but...could he handle it all in the spotlight and the focus being all on him.

I don't think this is going to affect FOB in the long run. Not negatively at least.
They had already started on this "break" or whatever, anyway.
It's not like Patrick's solo album is the reason they're taking a break, I mean.
They'll be back. Just a matter of when.

^^ Someone asked Joe on twitter how many more FOB albums there would be and he answered "Could be zero could be 10000" and I fully believe that.

It's either gunna be one or the other.

Cheese How have I missed so much?
That pic of Patrick has me feeling super confused and mixed up inside! I don't think I like change! Also reverse aging is scary! I'm still trying to find a way to prove it isn't a recent picture, but all I'm doing is finding proof that it is.

Not really a fan, but I was browsing Twitter profiles, and came across Wentz's. From what he's saying, FOB is over. (I know his blog says they're "on a break," but he keeps going on about how he can never play in the band again unless something big changes, and he doesn't seem optimistic anything will.) Weird. I always figured they'd forever be that band that stuck around, but then again, I know Patrick has quit before (though I'm not a FOB fan, I am a Patrick fan) and they have seemed a little shaky. Now, with Patrick's solo thing, I guess no one should be surprised.

I don't know what's going on with FOB anymore.
& I'm trying not to dwell on it.
They mean everything to me-- or as much as a band can mean to someone.
The announcement of Patrick's solo album is keeping me going,
As far as all this mess is concerned, anyway.

Andy made a much appreciated comment on the whole situation, though, that at least left me in an ok mood:
    Quote
i really wish i could tell everyone if we were done or not. but i just dont know. its not looking great right now, but when we went into the break it was for sure that we'd come back in 2 or 3 years. i still think we will come back, but i just dont know. theres no official decision one way or another. pete loves fob. i love fob. patrick loves fob. and joe loves fob. its just that we're in different places right this very instant. which is why we took the break. i honestly think all the pressure of people asking stuff like they are on twitter every five seconds is more damning to the band than anything. the whole point of the break was to just get away, and not think about it, and in 2 years or so, come back and decide where to go from there. i believe in us, and i believe we will get in a room, hash out the bullshit like in some kind of monster (haha) and we will be super stoked to do another record. i know all of us are already, but just not at this exact moment.

the reason ive given of touring and recording straight for 7-8 years is absolutely true as well. it was just burning us all out. and everyone else. we did too much so fast. going away and coming back fresh could only be a good thing.

but i just dont know right now. i think we will be ok in time. maybe not. like i said though, i cant tell the future. because heres the thing, i want a definitive answer as bad as everyone else. i think thats whats causing all of this in the first place

Yes 2/3 days ago he tweeted how much he missed touring with everybody.

I don't think even he knows.

@baby_butch man. dont you get it? a hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old. i dont plan on either.

@kathleen_____ cant imagine playing in fob again. something would have to change in my head or my heart- not my wallet. itd have to be real

I miss touring with our crew dudes. We had such a gang. Anyone wanna come over to my house and ill give you a pd and have a sweet rider. 9:19 PM Jan 31st from web

    See; he doesn't know.

I've kind of decided to chalk all this up to Pete being his usual temperamental self.
If only he would keep his thoughts to himself & not broadcast them all over the internet,
People wouldn't have a reason to flip out & go after him on Twitter & make things worse.
Whatever. I'm just going to see where things go & in the meantime, try not to take his outbursts too much to heart.

The more people harrass and annoy Pete the more he's gunna think "what's the point."

You know what, I just remembered something that could account for Pete's words and actions here....
He stopped taking his bi-polar meds.

He said he was going to try and be a "Clean Daddy" for Bronx, so his son wouldn't have to ask him what pills he was popping when he got old enough to understand that "Daddy takes medicine and isn't really sick looking".
