^ I take it those are his own words?
Hrm. If so, that's an awfully questionable decision.

Yeah, I agree. I'm really sad they they may be breaking up, but if Pete feels he needs to do it for his kid then so be it. I hope what you said is right.
- omegalomaniac.:
- Give them a few years & I have a feeling they'll be stoked to play together again.
I agree totally. I think earlier in their career, when I first started listening to them, they had more individual personality, and Pete's really stood out. He's always been my favorite member of Fall Out Boy because he appears to have a better image that he brings to the band, and plus he's a brilliant lyricist.
- Faris Badwan.:
- I really don't think I could look at FOB the same with someone other than Pete on bass. That goes for all the members. It just wouldn't be the same, y'know?
Nope, I completely agree. Without him they aren't Fall Out Boy. And I love Patrick, to bits but if I don't like his solo stuff [which I'd be surprised if I didn't] then I wont listen to it.
- Spencer James Smith:
- I only have one thing to say here; Without Pete, this band is jack-shit, and we all know it.
Go ahead now, bash me and call me a bitch, not a true fan.
Because, I am a true fan. Let's be honest, Patrick's coming out with a solo that he probably wrote the lyrics for, but I can guarantee you that they're not Fall out Boy lyrics. They're gunna be different, with a different feel. So, even if the band DID/DOES go on with out him, it won't be the same.
-Smith.
Blink-182 broke up on bad terms. Fall Out Boy's hiatus seems to be the opposite. They'll be back when they're ready, I'm sure.
- the hulk:
- No one thought Blink 182 would ever come back, I didn't when they broke up when I was like 15.
FOB will do the same, I know it.
The more people hassle them about FOB then they aren't having a break from it are they?
