Stupid Things You Tell Yourself

I tell myself to sit and take the verbal abuse I'm dished out everyday--just deal with it, and life will progress--and that the perfect guy will come along and be infuriated with how I'm treated and save me from it. Unlikely, but motivational nonetheless.

That my former-best-friend and are are telepathic because every time I tell him I've done something out of the ordinary for me (i.e. look up a random song I haven't listen to in forever he tells me he did the same thing (i.e. in this case looked up the exact same song on the same day as me, at somewhere around the same time)

I often tell my self to get over this stupid crush. It still hasnt worked, I wish I could make my self belive it.

when im alone i pretend im talking to someone and then have to keep telling myself that theres no point because theres no one there, and i also plan out conversations, but most of the time the conversation never happens so it all goes to waste :P

I tell myself that I have AIDS if I have a scratch or cut that doesn't have a band-aid. If my period is late I'll say I'm pregnant when I can't be cuz I'm a virgin. If a wrong number from LA or Miami shows up on my caller ID I'll think it's Scotty McCreery trying to call and tell me he loves me. If I begin feeling strange I'll begin to think it's Jim Morrisons ghost possesing my body (my little sister got that started...) If I'm waiting for the results of a mental evaluation (my mom thinks it's a neccesity. I'm bi-polar) if they don't call within four business days like they promise I'll begin to think they're trying to find a way to tell me that I need to be admited into an asylum. While I'm in the car I'll think the breaks will stop working. The list goes on and on....

I tell myself how worthlesss I am to the world and how everyone would be 100% happier if I just died. I imagine many scenarios where my friends have reasons to hate me and just overthink so many things it's kinda rediculous sometimes but I can' really help it, I hate myself.
