For all of my stories, when I write a chapter, I somehow create a "key word" and consistently use it throughout the chapter. However, the next chapter will have a different word. I dunno why it happens. A word just becomes popular in each chapter lmfao

I tend to write outcasty main characters. The ones who don't quite fit in.

Also, sticking with characters, my 'bad' characters, or the antagonists, aren't usually all that bad. Just... misunderstood.

I can't write about happy things. Facepalm I just can't. I write best when I write morbid/depressing stuff.

Also, I try to use ridiculous and fancy imagery. All the time. Facepalm Facepalm Facepalm

I usually am better at dialouge, but every once in a while I'll get into a part where I can describe things better than using dialouge.

I usually have a middle and end of a story done before I start the begining.

I'll write some dialogue and then go off into this completely new thing and the thing I was talking about before is forgotten.
And in everything I write, the phrase, 'the fact that' appears.

    Dialogue, and lots of it.

    -

I've realised I'm more comfortable writing a first person narrative when the character is at least in some way similar to myself. Annie and Violet are currently my favourite characters to write and they're both very sarcastic girls that tend to keep people at an arms length. Their monologue involves a lot of swearing and the use of the words 'damn' and 'hell'.

    -

On the topic of narratives, after I stopped roleplaying it was near impossible for me to get into the swing of writing full chapters in third person. I guess it's because when you roleplay (on this site at least) you tend to write a couple short paragraphs about what you're character is doing without the ability to control another person's character.

Looking at a roleplay as a whole, the perspectives will change after every paragraph, typically. It's hard to explain unless you have roleplayed before.

I can't finish anything and I often delete what i've written and then repost it again. I come up with good ideas but never go through with them. Very bad habits.

Volatile relationships, that are usually still light-hearted.

I've noticed that I most always use the same sentence structure.

"She pushed her hair out of her eyes and applied more lip gloss, making sure her appearance was perfect."

"My head was pounding as I moved my kisses from her lips to her jawline, and I couldn't help but smile a little."

    ECT ECT ECT.

Also, I always try to start things with "I sighed blah blah blah". Bad habit. My characters sigh, shrug, and smile entirely too much. BEWARE OF THE S WORDS.

Same. My characters have a tendency to grin or grimace at everyone they meet also. I also have a tendency to explain and describe to every single thing that they do to the point where a whole paragraph could be about them just washing their hands. Twitch I really need to stop that.

In all of my chaptered stories, there needs to be at least one absolutely insane character.

My main characters usually have a mental problem that isn't necessarily resolved by the end of the story. It depends on the plot itself.

In all of my chaptered fics, I always manage to throw myself in there somehow, whether it's a major or minor character.

    Probably just because I'm narcissistic.

I seem to have a liking for making my characters fall or jump off tall things or die in general. Shifty
