I would love it if they told what exactly they liked and disliked in a story not just they loved it. What did you love? What did you hate and why?

I wish my readers would comments regular like I see in other stories. Just to type out how they feel about the characters or what is going on. Like a little fandom.

Things I'm doing wrong, things I should fix, things I'm doing right. Tell me what you love/hate/don't care about in my story so I can keep it coming or scratch it out. Don't just tell me to update soon. Facepalm

I wish my readers would actually pick at and analyze my chapters. I put a lot of effort into each chapter and I like to play around with symbolism and literary references, and I pour my heart and soul into my stories. And all I get is:

"Ugh, I love it!" or "I sense trouble." or "Aww <3"

Seriously. I wish they'd really analyze my work because it's not just flat writing, it has depth.

I wish they would whisper, 'I'm here'
    I wish they would say, 'I like / dislike . . .'
I wish they would yell, 'Here's some criticism! You need it.'

Just anything that has more depth in it. That's all I ask for actually that's a lie--any comment letting me know you're there and you like or don't like it.

"Hey, I noticed you're writing in second person POV; I like/dislike this because _______________"

This is my first second person POV story and I'm in dire need for criticism on that Facepalm I like how it flows nicely with the plot, but I don't know if others feel the same or if they disagree.

I wish they would say what they like and dislike about my story/ chapter, or tell me if anything is confusing or needs to be changed. Sometimes I wish they would comment on the summary.

I honestly wish I'd hear something like "Oh my God! This is so...different, I've never read anything like this, and I really hope you continue to write stories like this!" Or something along those lines.

I wish they would tell me specifically what my errors are instead of saying, "You should proofread, there are some typos!"

Like.. I do proofread. I read my chapters over and over again until I'm certain I see nothing wrong, so it'd be helpful if you pointed out the problem specifically.

I'd love if people told me if they could relate to a certain character or how it affected them when a character did or said something that didn't agree with the reader. I love getting comments like that.
Definitely. I love constructive criticism that has to do with my actual writing, but I hardly ever get any comments in relation to my actual characters.

And I know it's a long shot, but it would be cool as hell for someone to pick up on the ridiculous amount of inter-story references I do in all of my stories.

It's always nice when readers point out if you made a plot or description mistake, as well as give any advice they can on improving if they see something that does need to be improved.
