Since going to university I have made a lot better friends than I had back in school; everyone is just more grown-up and there's a lot less bitching and point-scoring to deal with. A few of my friends have asked about it and I denied it at the time, so being honest will be a little less convenient this time round
I'm usually quite reserved at first whenever I meet anyone, but when I know someone better, my more relaxed, uninhibited side comes out and that's when people start to ask questions. However, there have been a couple of times where people who are relatively complete strangers have basically bet with each other on whether I was gay or not! As if the only thing people wanna know is that you're just like everyone else, and if you're not then it's like you're not worth the time of day
