Ashleigh Carassco from Take Me Away

She's an abused teenager who is also a prositite and a drug addict. The hardest part to write about her is getting the day to day suffering she goes through from the drugs and selling herself, to her father abusing her. That really is the hardest part to get down is the pain.

Stephanie Beckett from And You're a Star. She's a good girl with a rebellious side to her, and I have trouble making her seem three-dimmensional and not a plot device. Facepalm

In the original fic I'm writing at the moment I have these three characters that are supposed to be 'men's men' or whatever, and I just can't do it. Facepalm I make them overly bogan and cliche and it's so horrible. So now I'm turning them into boys who like fantasy novels and sci fi.

My main character Jack Mason from Devil May Care. I can't seem to write him off as this angelic, confused kid without making him sound like a prick.

Conversely, the real prick of the group, Samuel Grant, is everyone's favorite. I guess because he exudes more of a personality than Jack? Hmm.

I have problems writing about Emelia. Everyone thinks she's this nice, gorgeous girl. I want to show her mean side, but It's so hard. XD

everyone in the princess and the peas. i'm working so hard to keep it following the story somewhat that i feel like i'm not developing them enough; sofia and matt are okay, but i feel like i'm just listing names when i talk about gena and zacky, lacey and johnny, etc.

The crazy cat lady from Rebirth. It's just so hard to keep her consistent and keep the feeling of the story as apathetic as it started, because my moods change a lot, and my writing changes alongside with them, so I tend to write my characters differently when in a different mood that the originally started one.

Basically any character that I didn't create; I'm always worried that I'm making, for example, Bill Kaulitz too happy, Jan Werner too hyper, or Chris Linke too angry.

Jack and Alex from Symphony of Sound are both equally difficult. Probably because they vary from being very emotional and easily upset to angry and closed-off so easily, it's hard to capture their emotions well.

I always struggle writing Xabi Alonso well.
it's because he's Spanish. I write English people like a dream, probably because I can put so much of myself into them. when it comes to other nationalities you might as well have told me to build a house.

but I think writing Frank Lampard's a bit iffy. John's absolutely perfect to write about (we're somehow stupidly similar) and then I either ignore everything about Frank except his existence, or write him really badly.

Randi X. from Welcome To Hell.
She has numerous mental disorders such as BPD, DID and she self-harms.
It can be really hard to put her thoughts and feelings into words.

She's very stubborn but she's open in her "journal."
[the story is written as an auto-biography] it can be difficult to combine the two :/

Any time I try to write a Darren Shan vampire fic, I can't get Mr. Crepsley right. It's weird, because I sort of think of him as Larten, who he is to everyone his own age or of his same level of authority, but also, separately, as Mr. Crepsley, the guardian and protector Darren sees him as.

Rupert Hunnington. He has a great deal of manners, polite, but has an alpha male hidden deep inside of him. He has to be the most difficult character to write and get right for me. Other than that... the only other character I would say gives me trouble is probably... Evahraine Sullivan. Simply because she is complex for me. However, she needs to be for the story plots.

My most difficult character is Elizabeth Maki, she is a lot like me in that we both are violent. But she is so mean, and I'm not, it's difficult to write something you aren't.

I have this character called Vladimir Alenikov in an original I'm writing. Facepalm It's not that he's a bad person, but he has a lot of sick thoughts, usually related to death and torture. He's one of the main characters and he's on the 'good' side - he is a different person, when it comes to people he cares about. The hardest part is showing the contrast between his two personalities.

Mine has to be my autobiography. You'd think it would be easy, but it's really hard.
It's tough reflecting on all the bad moments in my life. As much as I would like to just blow through Fortuitous and write about the good times, it can't be like that. I need to get my bad experiences out. Which sucks, because I always end up crying and avoiding writing a chapter for that story like crazy. But I'm doing better, I think.

Kat Stryder in The Executioners. She's an undercover detective who gets in touch with her twisted side. She is fascinated with death and killing - and since I'm not really like that, it's a bit hard to connect with. I want to write her perfectly so the reader can get an exact image of how she is portrayed.

In my story Dream Life, there are two characters. One of them is smart, the other is not so smart. I've recently found it really hard to write about Tyrone and from his perspective because he lacks some (a lot) of the knowledge I have and uses dumb down words that I don't really use much anymore. And a lot of slang that I've retired. Unlike Ja'trell, who uses advanced words and is similar to me in ways. Tyrone is nothing like me so sometimes I have to catch myself when I start writing a word that his character wouldn't think or say and sometimes I have to step outside of my comfort zone and write something I'm not a fan of writing too much. Like when it comes to the way he has sex and talks about people. It's not something I would think, say, or do even if I was a boy. Also I feel weird when writing about how attractive a girl looks to either of them because quite frankly, I don't look at girls like that and I don't find them that attractive.

Then it's difficult to write about Ja'trell because he doesn't smile much and I smile nonstop. It's not too hard though, but it feels weird for me to leave out the "I smile" so much when I feel like I've reached a moment where he should smile.

I guess writing about characters that have an opposing character than you, as an individual.

Also writing in present tense can get difficult because I'm so used to thinking in past tense when writing stories although as I'm writing, it's supposed to be happening at that time.

In general, probably Brendon. Brendon exists, in my fic, for the sole purpose of being Ryan's catalyst and so what he does has to directly relate to Ryan somehow.

Specifically, William in After Supper and After the War is a difficult character to write because I'm not used to writing the soft, broken down, weak characters. Most of my characters are not resigned.

I know what you mean. In my story Extranormal (the only one I have completed) I had trouble with writing some of the things Jamal said to his sister Essence about certain "missions" they had to do regarding crime. It was hard not to miss out on anything that could be picked up by a detective right down to a free hair. If I missed something like that, it could jeopardize the reality of the story and I was aiming high towards the crime area. So what he said had to relate to actual crime (watching ID [Investigation Discovery] helped a lot though)
