I've been working on this story on and off, and probably started it sometime during the summer. The basics to the plot:
The main character is a girl that's unhappy with her body and thinks that because she's not pretty, she doesn't deserve to be loved. She is also facing the fact that if she doesn't perform community service over the summer, she'll have to repeat her senior year of high school. She chooses the community service which involves her volunteering at a carnival. She meets Edwain.
Edwain got into a car accident a year or so ago that left him paralyzed from the waist down, and the only survivor of a crash involving four other people. He's adjusting to life in a wheelchair, but still trying to carry on as if nothing had happened. One way or another he ends up meeting Holly, and he's interested. In short, the story revolves around them teaching the other how to move on and accept themselves.
I came up with Color My World for the title, but I don't feel right about it. Could anyone help me out?
