I went to a few of their shows on the Dead Masquerade tour. Missed most of the actual shows, haha, but got to party with Craig and Alesana on the bus one night, and chill with Craig on the bus briefly the next night. Then talked to Monte a bit in Michigan. He wants to give my band's demo to the people at Interscope, which is pretty awesome :)

Amazing live show, though. When I see these guys I see where my band needs to, and hopefully will, be someday. Even without Max, they still sound insanely tight, which is a lot harder to do while missing a member. They're definitely impressive.

Just found this in the News forum thread about Ronnie getting out of prison, and if you have no respect for Ronnie and like Craig and all...you might wanna check it out. Shifty

I've always loved Ronnie better, his personality, his voice, and his skill at being a frontman. When This War is Ours came out, I actually liked the new ETF, even though I didn't care for Craig. I was okay with it.

But after reading that interview, especially reading about how ETF talked shit about Ronnie and watching the video of Craig dissing him and how he talks to fans and people in the audience...I seriously have no respect for Craig at all, nor the rest of ETF, really.

The music's good, but they really don't seem like good people.

I mean, who talks to a young teen that way on stage? And lying and talking shit about Ronnie? Rude, disrespectful, and, obviously, threatened by Ronnie's fanbase, to say the least.

Ronnie and his band were also talking shit back though, that's the thing he doesn't mention. It used to be all over their Myspace, they'd post bulletins slamming ETF and fans would make hate-pictures pertaining to them and they'd post it. But once Escape the Fate stopped talking shit, they stopped too and deleted the stuff.
I love both Ronnie and Craig. They're both talented and I have respect for both of them. I'm glad Ronnie is out of prison and doing well. I got to meet Craig twice, and was a real sweet heart. Never got to meet Ronnie.
But apparently everything is better between Ronnie, Craig and Max.
And apparently Max is in rehab, which is great to hear (:

    I have a question.
At ETF shows does Craig sing Ronnie's songs?

^ The only one I've ever seen Craig sing live was "Situations". That concert was a few years ago right when Craig joined and the album "This War Is Ours" just came out. I don't think they sing any old Escape the Fate stuff anymore just considering the backlash they got when Craig sang Situations.

^ They still sing situations. They kind of can't not sing it because it's so popular, it's usually their last song or the song before the encore. On their first tour after Craig joined they played a couple of other DIYLF songs too.

They played "Not Good Enough..." with Craig, too, the first time I saw them (which was sometime in October or November 2010, I believe?), but other than that, they only seem to do "Situations".

Oh okay. I wasn't sure if they still did any of the older stuff, just considering how mad Ronnie and Ronnie's fans got when they saw Craig sing the older stuff.

Yeah, I'm sure that's probably why. "Situations" is one of their biggest songs to date, so it makes sense to leave that one, but now that they have 25+ songs with Craig they can do, they don't have to rely on the older songs anymore.

As far as the feud thing goes, it does go both ways, and I'll say that both sides were being both childish and defensive. Hopefully they've all gotten past it now and can at least be civil, because it seems silly to have 24+ year olds fighting like teens, especially when they were once close and are all talented musicians with a lot going for them.

^ I agree with that so much. Like, I love both Craig and Ronnie. And I'll support both of them in what they do musically, but the fighting is really childish. Some fans also push the feud even farther though. They usually stick up for one, and not the other. Both sides were shit talking and being really immature.

All I can say is I really hope they come here for Uproar. This is like a dream tour for me, all of my favorite bands on one tour. It can't get any better than that. Just hoping that on the 29th my city is announced!

^ I also really hope to see them on Uproar. But I also have to wait 'til the 29th to see if they're coming here, they did last year so hopefully they will be coming again. The lineup is so good this year though.

Dying is Your Latest Fashion and This War is Ours was amazing. I wasn't a huge fan of their self titled album.

I love Escape the Fate I feel like it was better with Ronnie but at the same time I think it's still good with Craig. I started listening to the band when Craig was already involved so I can't really talk

How did Escape The Fate end up on page 4?

I'm really hoping we can get on the list for the Uproar Fest, even though I'm mainly only interested in seeing ETF. It'd be great for the band to promote there, and, of course, it'd be amazing to see them live again, and possibly do some more chillin' with Craig and Monte, and maybe get to meet the other two guys finally, as well.

Is Max touring again now? Last time I saw them .. I can't remember when, a few months ago .. he wasn't with them because after his 'woo, rehab worked, I'm fine again' thing, Craig was all 'Yeah, it didn't work that well' so he was at home.

I'm assuming he would be. I just haven't heard much on how Max is doing. Think
