The Complete Pixie Survival Guide

"Do I need to remind you we've been alone in the same room before?" Tobi asked patiently -which is to say, patiently considering the circumstances. "Caden, I know we're dating, but I'm not your possession or something, okay? Other people can touch me if I allow them to, such as to shake hands or hug if they were my friends..." she sighed. "Unfortunately, you're my only friend right now, which I blame you for, by the way." She poked his arm. "So calm down, alright, sweetie? He did say fine, which is agreeing. Can you move on with negotiations of peace now?"

Caden frowned and growled, shaking his head. "It's not my fault - you can make friends just fine! I dont mean to say someone isn't allowed to hug you or something - but I doubt your little pixie friend here is just going to be friendly." He sighed and then frowned. "Fiiine. Got it? Hands off." He repeated, turning to Kalem.
Kalem smiled and nodded. "Don't you worry - I'm not going to try anything. Tobi knows that, don't you pretty?" He smiled at her.
Caden growled again.

Tobi sighed, just short of a groan. "I'm just going to go sit down. I'll be listening though, so neither of you are allowed to move from where you are right now until you're sorted out," she told them sternly. Then she finally let go of Caden's hand, removing her hand from his chest, and retreated, sitting down just on the other side of the hall like she'd said, leaning against the wall. "Please resume negotiations."

Caden watched her all the way until she was on the other side of the hallway and then frowned, rolling his eyes. "This is ridiculous." He growled under his breath.
Kalem shook his head. "Oh come on - this is what she wants. Shouldn't you be the good boyfriend and support that?" He asked.
Caden growled and got into his face. "Don't you DARE tell me how to be a good boyfriend!"

Tobi groaned, hitting her head back against the wall a couple of times. She shouldn't have left them alone... "Caden, no fighting!" she called over. "Kalem, stop provoking him or I'll let him beat the shit out of you."

Kalem looked at her innocently. "I wasn't provoking him - I was just saying!" He complained and then looked back at Caden.
Caden growled as he looked at her. "I swear I'm going to kill him!" He said angrily.

Tobi was practically beyond the point of caring as she groaned and stood up, going back over to them. She pointed an accusing finger at Kalem. "You are doing this on purpose. I don't know why but apparently it's a good thing I'm a nice person or I would let Caden do what he wants to do right now." She looked at Caden and sighed. "You I don't blame, actually. You're acting like a territorial wolf which in a strange sense actually makes sense. I don't support it but... It's you.." Tobi rubbed her temples. "Okay Kalem... You get one day to prove to me how amazing being a pixie is, on Caden's rules about touching and whatever else will make him feel safer. If I still want to be human afterwards, you stop following me everywhere and talking about me being a pixie and how amazing it is, etc. If I like pixie land or whatever, and I don't think I will, I'm still going to be with Caden though." She glanced between them. "That sound like it'll work for you two?"

Caden was surprised by the way she came up to them - but he was happily that she finally didn't blame him for something. Didn't she understand that he was just trying to protect her? Yes, finally. He nodded his head and frowned. "Fine. Hands off. And I want to know where you're going because if you don't have her in by a certain time, I will hunt you down - and I will kill you."
Kalem nodded his head. "I understand man. She's yours. When should we do this? Tomorrow's Saturday? Then I could have a proper full day." The were was going to have to go... She was good attached to him...

Tobi sighed. Caden sounded like her mom and she almost felt like a piece of meat being fought over by wolves. This needed to happen though, because otherwise Caden wouldn't calm down and things would just get worse. "Tomorrow works I guess," she finally said and glanced between them. "You two good now?" She wanted to get to lunch. Even if she missed sixth period, she was going to eat something.

Both boys looked at her and Kalem had an odd glimmer in his eyes of his planning and plotting. He needed her to agree with him fully - and he had to so get ready of that Were. He was a nuisance,
Caden grabbed her hand and smiled. "Yes, fine I guess," he said softly and then kissed her forehead. He was going to have to discuss this all with her.

Tobi gave Caden a smile. "Well, let's go get some lunch then," she kissed his cheek, linking their fingers together. She looked at Kalem. "I suppose I'll see you the next period I don't have with Caden?" she asked. That seemed to be the pattern at least...

Caden smiled and nodded his head. He squeezed her fingers and smiled. "Sounds perfect." He looked back at Kalem and frowned. This still wasn't what he wanted.
"Perhaps you will. I'm not sure." Kalem answered, smiling at her lightly.

Tobi shrugged, offering him a small smile and nodding. "Okay, let's go eat," she said to Caden, and soon they were walking to the lunch room. She was hoping that she wouldn't get lectured at lunch though, honestly.

Caden smiled and held her hand tightly as they walked. "I still don't know if this is a good idea." He remarked as they got their lunches and he sighed. "I'm afraid of losing you."

Tobi ended up sitting down across from Caden, frowning a little at what he said. "Losing me?" She echoed. "Why would you lose me?" She sighed, shaking her head. "I won't pretend to know how you think, Caden... but you won't lose me." She watched him. "I told him I would give him a day to show me what being a pixie is like, or something like that, but I made him agree he would stop showing up everywhere like a stalker and bothering us if I did. Even if you do tickle me, and that's not cool in the least, I don't think I could ever like Kalem enough to even consider being anything other than maybe friends with him."

Caden frowned a little and sighed, shaking his head. "I disagree - I think he has powers of persuasion that you don't even understand and I don't know what to think about it." He frowned lightly and reached over, caressing her cheek. "I'm just worried - a worried boyfriend. That's all." He said lightly and shook his head. "It's not irrational for me to worry though - I do hope you understand that!"

Tobi smiled at him. "Just a worried boyfriend, huh? I know it isn't irrational, the way you're acting, considering you're a werewolf, but to a human, that was completely irrational." Tobi kissed his cheek. "I actually think you did rather well, aside from attempting to kill him."

Caden chuckled lightly and nodded his head. "Yes, just a worried boyfriend!" He teased lightly and then shook his head. "Hey - I didn't attempt to kill him - I just threatened to do so." He chuckled.

Tobi shook her head. "That's bad enough!" she argued. Then she ate her lunch before the bell could ring and she would have to go to class, because that would suck if she never got the chance.

Caden chuckled and shook his head. "It is not! Not as bad as actually doing the act!" He teased and kissed her forehead. "Besides... It's only to protect you - I would be much happier if he weren't around..."
